I have been watching them for year or so. I am much impressed with these sisters. They take me back to the sixties folk scene. I love their that their beliefs are reflected their songwriting. To me, they appear natural and down to earth. Makes my hippie heart happy! 😄✌🏼
Right around the holiday season in 2014, I woke up early on a Sunday morning (about 6 a.m.) due to my apartment being right next to train tracks. I turned on the radio station that I most commonly listened to, and this was the first song I heard that day. I've listened to it frequently ever since.
i haven't been this amazed by unique sound since the 60s ~Frasier and Debolt (they may even inspire you ~i especially like the songs 'Pure Spring Water' and 'Warmth' ~Congrats on being AWESOME!!!!!! you brought a tear i swear.
Been watching these ladies for a few years now and I LOVE them! Would love to see them live, still waiting for them to come back to Houston. They need to be on the Ellen Degeneres show
I love you both. I just pledged my love to the most perfect girl in the world tonight. I'm writing poetry For goddess sake I'm not sure Much more I'll take Before I chop This garden snake She slithers by With glint in eye And heart of stone My weakness finds Poisoned fang Hits flesh Then bone Forgive this horrid Lonely groan I slip from life All Alone Consumed
I agree with you in spirit. These women appeal to my aging hippie heart. They are all natural women, close to nature. You picked up on that. P.s. I like WF but prefer farmers market. Ignore haters. 😃✌🏼
+Melanie Bianchi - give it another listen. This is such pure music, it may not find you at first, as it doesn't have a lot of production. But listen to the heart of it and you'll begin to get why so many people are loving it. They take traditional tunes like this and spin them a bit, giving them a little more lilt or a little less sadness or just their own creative input, words, melody, harmony, maybe all three, but still staying true to the spirit and feel of the original song. They have probably done this song several ways, and tho this is not my favorite version, it has it's own charm. So just give it a little more listen! Thanks! Love ya!

For goddess sake
I'm not sure
Much more I'll take
Before I chop
This garden snake
She slithers by
With glint in eye
And heart of stone
My weakness finds
Poisoned fang
Hits flesh
Then bone
Forgive this horrid
Lonely groan
I slip from life
All
Alone
Consumed

Any one else feel like they want to go shopping at Whole Foods every time these two sing a song.?
no, because Whole Foods is a fake store. Go to the local farmers or find grocers and places that offer local products.

Wish I would’ve been there. I still could take my old job maybe? Are you hiring ha ha Ha
What a small world isn’t it?
kinda watered down

I like stripped-down production. I'm just partial to a bit more grit.
