Hey Ross, Jonathan here, your guide in Intramuros with Bambike. You should've told me you're going to feature Binondo as well! I recommend you go check the Chinatown Museum for the in-depth history of the area the next time you're in town. Cheers! 😃
Hey going home soon! This is a huge help to have a glimpse of how it actually look now! The spaghetti wiring uuff Appreciate ur brief history tho. Take care!!!
What a brilliant video! That final spot with those mouthwatering noodles looks absolutely irresistible. Definitely adding it to my bucket list. Those dishes bring back fond memories of my time in Nanjing; they're exactly what I've been craving!
Oh Ross, i will soon be vacationing in Manila with my family. We are booked at STAY MALATE Hostel and will go on a food trip in Binondo. Nice to watch your videos.
Visited last year but ended only eating at 1 place and then buying pasalubong at Eng Bee Tin because the queues were insane! Coming back sometime soon and will defo try harder this time. 😂 At which time of the day do you suggest visiting to avoid the long queue and not going home hungry? Hahaha
@@FirstPiper thanks! Will visit on a Monday because I'm flying to Manila from Mindanao to join a marathon. I'll stuff myself after as a reward. Appreciate your response!
the chinese massacre was instigated by LIMAHONG a chinese pirate to rebel against spaniards and take over luzon to establish a chinese kingdom. but Filipinos, Japanese Samurai Christians and Spaniards eventually put down the rebellion hence the massacre ensued after their defeat. One among many dark chapter of colonialism in the philippines.

Thanks for watching Tara, Ingat!
Amazing video! Fun fact: I nearly died eating a Rose Apple because I didn’t know it’s the fruit that cashew nuts come from!
What? Cashew nuts don't come from cashew fruits? 😅
that looked to me like a makopa or Java apple. crunchy and kinda tasteless like a cashew fruit but not the same
If you're still in mnl try riding the pasig ferry, it's free, quick and amusing
This is a fab suggestion. Thank you!! 🙏🏼
I’m a Filipino and you gave me great information about Binondo. Thank you for making me more knowledgeable.
Thank you for the in-depth historical feature of the oldest Chinatown in the world. More power to you!
My pleasure. This was fun to put together!

I reckon go early on a weekend, like 10am and then you'll get in there ok without the queues. Or just a weekday?!
