I've been to pakn'save
I didnt see one in Queenstown.
Spotted one maori fulla tho and he we had a korero.
Then went to the warewhare
Yup
I go to countdown personally- it’s closer to my house
@@South_Heat yeah nah, I would also rather go to countdown but they're pretty far 😅
I’m a kiwi and listening them talking about New Zealand makes me happy 🥺
Same bro
I agree
You have every reason to be happy mate, you're living in paradise!
"Of course they're happy - they live in New Zealand!"
As someone who lives in NZ, I wholeheartedly agree.
Tell that to the extremely high suicide rate.
If I come to New Zealand, would you be kind enough to offer me a job to support myself? I am in love with New Zealand and it's in my bucket list to go there.
Dahm i stay in New Zealand and these guys been to more places then me lmao
Lots of my coworkers have never seen most of the well known places of NZ. They just go to Auckland from time to time for a show (rarely though), and that's about it.
Same 😂
Gahhmon gussy. Get of the couch ow
cuz its so damn expensive to do things in your own backyard
Just me like us and bullshit through your teeth like most of us, “YEH BEEN THERE” but really 😂😂
From my home in Scotland I have travelled to North America, the European Alps, the Nepalese Himalayas and more. None of them come close to New Zealand. I'm heading back for my 5th trip in about 2 weeks time. It is the most special place on earth. Stunning.
Not the whole of new zealand.. like the country side yeah.. the parts with more grass and stuff... but the more urban side of new zealand... mmmm i dont know a lot of misbehaved islanders and maoris and justmisbehaved people overall...there is a lot of good about the more urban side but still quite a bit of bad aswell... still love it here in auckland.. couldnt ask for more
Do you need a gardener? I work for a green card
TSM Dash is that right? And you think you're special, talking about the misbehaviour of Islanders and Maori? Not the whole of NZ? Where do you come off?
ay scotland aint so bad either
I was fortunate enough to spend a week in Scotland and it was so beautiful! It reminded me a lot of the South Island of New Zealand (fun fact, I road tripped from Invercargill to Hamilton once). Don't discredit your own country. I want to go back to Scotland.
ive lived in new zealand my whole life and these people have still done more things here than i have
I'm so proud to be from New Zealand :) I love the way they talk about New Zealand with passion. And just like most New Zealanders, I have yet to explore our native lands to see just how beautiful it really is all I've seen were pictures and videos. I want to experience it just like how these actors did and so many other lucky people. Thank you for sharing! :)
i know
I know right
Chur
yea makes me proud too, gives me shivers down my spine when I hear there comments they make about our country however even thow new Zealand is beautiful im from up north which has ok scenery but I wish to go down south island again only been once its truly amazing place down south its unbelievable
I'm a proud American, but if I had to live in another place New Zealand is hands down my first choice.
Most of New Zealand is like this, the only places that are a little crap are the major cities but even they aren't so bad when compared to places like Beijing or New York.
GreenMMs100. Never been to Beijing, but NYC is awesome
Go to Dunedin, you might change your mind.
@@miyounovagotta admit I chuckled
@@miyounova dunedin isnt a major city lmao..
@@WhyAreYouUpset no shit sherlock. that's because NZ is a tiny country... But it's still a major ish city for NZ, even if a small town for any other country. It has one of the only 2 major hospitals on the island, and a well known university, which does do research used throughout the country and abroad. I mean, I really really hate it here, but we're talking about NZ, you have to scale it appropriately.
He's right it does look better the cgi. It is unreal how perfect it is.
1:18 riding a bike while drunk is illegal in NZ.... but we all do it. Good shit haha
Safe, its private land
It's not illegal. Only if you cause a motor vehicle accident!
@@garyhicks1473 umm actually it *is* illegal - I personally know people who have been ticketed for drunk driving on a bike - no traffic incident incident involved - one guy, in Wellington many moons ago, was quite proud of this
@@juliaconnell What about riding a horse while intoxicated? It has an equal amount of risk as riding a bicycle, possibly more as there is another form of intelligence involved. Cheers :)
@@levipua6525 Surely you can figure riding a horse would be safer considering there is another form of intelligence who isn't intoxicated 😂
I’m quite shocked at how well they’re all pronoucing the Maori names! They sound so natural and do it better than some New Zealanders 😂
I'm glad they all had time to enjoy your beautiful country. I'm an island 'girl' from the other side of the world, but the Caribbean is very different from New Zealand. Maybe one day I'll get to enjoy the wonders that are shown in this video. Thank you for sharing it with those of us who live so far away!
I went to New Zealand on my honeymoon a few years ago. It's everything the cast say it is - I was stunned on a daily basis by its beauty. If you ever get the opportunity, grasp it with both hands. It's a wonderful, wonderful country.
JimShadyUK Thank you very much. I will do just that!
I live here in the good old NZ.... but to be honest, for somebody who see's it every day, it is not so interesting... then again, I live in a town, when you see places like mountains and Queenstown now they are really beautiful, but wanganui where I live is rather boring
Maiasaurus pearson I can totally understand that. It's like envying children who live by the seaside - they probably have the urge to get into a city every now and then.
Hi when one day you make it here to my country aotearoa new Zealand . welcome . from a Maori . take care bye
I'm so proud to be kiwi!! 🇳🇿
Yep that's my country!!!!
Same but I live the South iand of New Zealand
New Zealand is absolutely beautiful... then theres South Auckland. hahaha
im just.......... this is so funny because south Auckland is shit..... then again...... I live in Wanganui
Come wrewa boii fuk u up
.....nuff said
#runitstraight
Go Wanganui
Otara
Lmfao otahuhu
I'm moving there in 24 months=2 years but! Holy shit I'm exited.
Did you make it here, Kate; how’s it been, 4-years on? :-)
Yeah let us know
Hows it
That lake Evangeline Lilly mentioned is SOOOOOOO beautiful!
We’ve got a few good lakes here in New Zealand :)
I left NZ when I was 20 (10 years ago), and only now I realise how much I took it for granted. Such a beautiful place with so many outdoor wilderness places to go in only a small drive from anywhere. Something I miss about living in Perth.
Family time is unparalleled
Honestly I appreciate NZ so much more after living in Aussie for 10 years. As good as Aussie is theres no place like home
I heard South Auckland is just as beautiful.
Otara especially 🤣🤣🤣🥴
I'm a from the North Island and no matter how many times I visit the Sth Island the scenery blows my mind.
I was an extra on the movies..the best part was the cast!
Yes it’s true NZ people are awesome. I can’t express in my words. They are very very lovely people.
it awesome that the crew and casts was able to see more of New Zealand while filming here. About four years ago i think it was. When Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver/Stargate SG1) was here for comic com up in Auckland. one of the things he wanted to do was go down to Matamata to see the hobit homes. He even took some selfies with the homes in the back round and comments on how he loved it.
Loved Armageddon as a kid, i got to meet yu gi oh 😂 armageddon is how Jason Momoa fell in love with NZ. Man use to be a regular
Lovely to hear these people loving my country as much as I do. In my. 77 years I think I’ve seen every inch of it. After all it’s not that big. Our favourite place with a family going on holiday was staying in a nice house on a farm. Once the children had grown we bought our own place in the country side. We’ve loved every minute of it. 🥰
Funny thing about New Zealanders is that of those I spoke with when I worked there for a year , most North Islanders haven't been to the South Island , most South Islanders haven't been to the North but most had been to Australia .
Yeah. Its cheaper to fly to Australia than to the other island. Also we dont know whats on the other island besides Christchurch and Auckland and generally think both islands the same.
I've been all over both with my dad. We go on adventures about once a year 😁
I'm a New Zealander and I'm so proud of it :)
"It's more incredible than you can describe.." that sentence is New Zealand! Been almost everywhere there in 2014 and man, it's really an incredible country!!!
New Zealand has an amazing landscape and so many different terrains from desert to mountains to beautiful lakes, it's incredible!
I often pray to God to take me to NZ for two reasons.....firstly, the land is beyond incredible and secondly the people are perhaps the nicest people on earth. I my humble opinion its heaven on earth.
Almost choked on my drink when Evangeline kept trying to say Pukaki because it just came out sounding like “Bukake” 😆
bruh 💀💀
you guys realise its lake pukaki no bukake right?
I thought she was saying that she shot a bukake...?
@ProKiwi I'm just thankful that he didn't say Bekaka😂😂😂🙌👍
The Southern lakes and mountains are my old stamping ground. I've been away for around 45 years now, but I love the movies as much for the nostalgia as the story. Win win!
They have been more places than I have and I fucking live here...
Easy
I love my home here in Texas, USA, and has many wonders and sights. But can I move to New Zealand, because it is such a beautiful place and is on my bucket list. And I would love to visit all the places that were shot in the LotR and Hobbit films!
really tempted to get a ticket and go as a grad present to myself next year, but i'd be travelling solo but i really wanna go!
Did you end up coming over?
@@rickrandomites did you end up getting and answer from the guy who asked if he ended up coming over
Travelling solo is ok. Very safe place. Just come on down
@@rickrandomites is this chain going to go on forever? Also is anyone ever going to answer anyone?
This is really New Zealand? The mountains and the terrain is beautiful!
Yes it’s all real and we’re unfortunately currently closed sorry unless you have a lot of money and don’t mind paying for your 2 weeks hotel stay with the doors locked from the outside before you begin your trip around the country
Yep i live in Christchurch whoch isnt so beautiful but i can walk up the mountains behind my house whenever i want
NZ is an amazing place. Most places have a landmark (Matamata + Hobbiton) (Auckland + Sky tower) (Morrisville = Cow Statues) Etc. I love living here for it is beautiful even tho I have only really seen it from my town only as I don't go places often.
Truly heaven on earth... I love it.
OMG I love what they are saying about NZ! I am SO proud to be a kiwi.
All great actors and actresses!!
I've lived in New Zealand for 21 years and they have done more in mere months then I have in years.
Sounds bang on.
I was only there in 2018 for a single day, and I visited Hobbiton.
Looks like I have to go back for 3 months to go visit it all!!!
Yeeeep u r talking about my country😍
As a person born in NZ I just loved the fact that so many people in Lord Of The Rings and many other movies had seen our beautiful country because not many people know about it but it’s a lot more BECAUSE of Lord Of The Rings
Beautiful comments by all. I am a kiwi..born & raised here. I live 90 minutes north of Auckland in a small town called Mangawhai on the Te Arai point. Te Arai beach is a popular surf beach to many. The exclusive Tara-iti Golf course is on the shore line of Te Arai. Mangawhai is now known to Aucklanders as " Magical Mangawhai " and there are many places in New Zealand that are truly magical. I'm proud to be a kiwi and I hope all those that visit our country, or choose to live, have a magical experience. 🥂
What great things to say about NZ! True, of course!
I need to get out and about more in New Zealand 💞💯✊🏾
If a U.S director did LOTR movie all of the movie set you'd only visit in the museum. But kiwi director PJ went beyond that imagination for people to enjoy in real life.
Americans absolutely love New Zealand I love New Zealand I feel blessed to live here
Best office, best home, best backyard.
Beautiful
So right that the people must be happy there ...

Imagine how us kiwis feel watching American movies of you driving on the other side cringe? We call it an adventure🤣👍💯
I cringed when i was Stateside cos the traffic was on the wrong side.
My son in law drove .
Cause only Americans drive on the other side of the road of course 🙄 my god the "self centeredness"

1:35 Almost sounded like"I shot a bukkake" I wish. LMAO
1:34 Lake Bukkake

"Bukake" sorry what 😂😂
@Bruce Fale Bruh you dont even know if she/he is kiwi and alot of the foreiners* on here are saying bukake/bukkake cause its a lake from somewhere else so that might be it and on the other hand 'You Kiwis'? "Some Maori can't even pronouce Maori words nowdays" Well Ill put that al on the pakeha that took over our contry and the pakeha that had the audacity to beat us we spoke maori! now we grow up saying things wrong~ Like Waikato (WhyKaTuo) is said as a WhyCatToe And um thats because we were told to stop speaking Maori and to speak the language of the crown~ and wtf! nah-ah. (Dont carry this on other wise it'll go on non stop, trust me)
For a brief moment there i thought evangeline said lake BUKKAKE 💀💀🤣
