Important note about the fully removable flap: iirc, you can reattach it going under the deckbox, and have the box open with the lid attached in that way.
God I love the collab between you all. But most of all I love your content I got shown through it. You are all so passionate and knowledgeable but most importantly, you all have fun. I cant stress enough how glad I am I came across your channel.
Thanks that really means a lot! Working with the Professor was such an eye-opening experience he's very professional but, intensely passionate about MTG. We hope to bring at least 1/4th of that passion to our videos
@@apsamplifier same from the opposite side, the work you guys do with the professor is actually what got me into MTG, it's great now cause my wife and I have multiple TCG options when we have game night!
BTW The little dice box slots inside can house I think about 40 standard sized double sleeved cards (Prof likes double sleeving all of his decks as I understand it). Which mean YGO decks can go in there easy, and if single sleeved you might be able to throw in 55 cards, 40 main 15 extra no side in 1 box. Which is really cool. You could have 2 boxes with decks and 1 with the extra/side decks, or a modular deck. I always thought that's a cool idea, a deck where you swap maybe 10-15 cards to make it less or more powerful to fit the setting or even change up what it does entirely. Also side note for commander deck sleeving, I personally either double sleeve only my commander or sleeve them in a different color. So it's easy to tell which one's my commander incase the card accidently gets shuffled into the deck and opponents can easily identify what card's your commander. At least for the different color in the later example.
According to professor, the divider was designed especially for Flesh and Blood, where people use to put their expensive equipments in top-loader so they don't fit in most deck boxes. Also, the three trays on the side are not only for dices, they could fit a blitz deck for Flesh and Blood or many card tokens that Magic the Gathering players love using a lot.
6:52 "If I can find it... If I can find it!" {Larry fails to find his Commander} 😂 This video was very cool. I wish I'd known The Professor was doing this. I'd have backed to support him & his work. I feel that Larry's perspective on the deck box is very much like my own. I've only played Yu-Gi-Oh! Pokémon TCG & 60-card Magic from WAY before counters of any kind were used so I would be kinda guessing at what the drawers would hold. I can't wait for your next video & I hope to maybe see Larry & the guys of Team APS on an episode of "Shuffle Up & Play!" 🤞
The divider lets you hold loose cards in that configuration, but there is another slot that when it's in that one lets you put a boulder or some other smaller deck box into the holding spot. :)
I absolutely LOVE the channel bromance and comradery between you guys and Tolarian. 2023's come a long way for card game enthusiasts to not bitterly argue and criticize each other and just share common ground.
Same. I know they did a video of the professor trying to play yugioh but is there a video of them learning to play magic? I would really like to see that video. Maybe I missed it?
The two blank tokens are for MDFCs (stands for modal double-faced cards). You can use it in your deck to represent a double sided magic card, especially if you don't have card sleeves for your deck.
The divider can indeed be used to slot in tokens or your commander but the main use is for different sized decks/sleeving styles. If you remove it you can fit a commander deck double sleeved with DS sealable inner sleeves comfortably (which was the main reason I backed it lol).
I love gamegenic and their boxes. That they come off and won't break after the wear and tear of opening and closing them is great! Love the feel of them too. I'm upset I missed the Kickstarter but glad to see you guys managed to snag one.
For Magic Packs: the packs printed in Belgium and the US do not have the little tear bit. The packs printed in Japan have the tear-away, and they have the superior order of cards.
Chest of drawers???? Never even heard of that before!😆 We just said dresser.... My granny would say, "hand me such an such, out that top dresser drawer." Country folks.😅
I'm still waiting for my red and grey one to arrive in the mail. The Academic looks neat though, and yes you can attach the lid to the underside of the deck box and keep them together _that_ way.
I personally love gamegenic and dragon shield deckboxes. The 133 means you can fit 100 double sleeved cards with enough room for tokens 😊 I use the gamegenic xl 120 for the same reasons excellent quality as well.
Ngl, figured Largibalf was the most responsible out of you all, but like...what even was this? Comes across as drunk, yelled at by Pøl to do it and that he was upset they werent sent it for free and with a personalised message o,O. "I don't know what this is", " I hate this part " "why is this even a thing". I guess I'll use it and a jab at them branding it o,O
Plus all the timeywimey shenanigans Tefari got up to while Urza was going ham on Phyrexia because Yawgmoth decided Dominaria was the perfect place to invade.
Both them deck boxes were super snazzy imagine how easy it would be to have a slightly customized box buying 2 or 3 and mixing the pieces to have multicolored boxes I would do Royal blue and a dark green if they have the options
The divider is likely for tokens. Also I would love to see a video going over larrys commander decks, im not sure if thats too far out of the realm of the content you want to release on the channel but it would be nice
Important note about the fully removable flap: iirc, you can reattach it going under the deckbox, and have the box open with the lid attached in that way.
I was going to suggest that so glad to know that does indeed work
Ah! I'll tell Larry!

I use them for my eggs in Digimon.
The top of the box attaches to the bottom so you won’t lose it.
Congrats on receiving a place at your dream college! so proud of you!
I love the TCC APS collabs and would love to see even more MTG YGO content creator crossovers.
Would love to see a video showcasing larry's commander decks
6:52 "If I can find it... If I can find it!" {Larry fails to find his Commander} 😂

Each MTG content upload in this channel it's one step closer to that promised Shuffle Up and Play with Team APS...
Bruh. Larry out here exposing all of us southerners. I 100% used to say chester drawers
Alec's hey in the background was pretty cute :P
I absolutely LOVE the channel bromance and comradery between you guys and Tolarian. 2023's come a long way for card game enthusiasts to not bitterly argue and criticize each other and just share common ground.
I wanna watch Larry play magic
Same. I know they did a video of the professor trying to play yugioh but is there a video of them learning to play magic? I would really like to see that video. Maybe I missed it?
Super glad you guys collaborated with Prof. I wouldn't know about your channels otherwise!

@@triple_gem_shining Audible Gasp.
Larry: "It's the Academic, 133+XL. Not sure what that means..."
The Prof: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Those blank tokens are actually re-usable with a dry rease maker due to the special finish they have
I love gamegenic and their boxes. That they come off and won't break after the wear and tear of opening and closing them is great! Love the feel of them too. I'm upset I missed the Kickstarter but glad to see you guys managed to snag one.

Just letting you know. You can place the deck box on top of the lid and fold it up to keep it with the deck box.
I'm still waiting for my red and grey one to arrive in the mail. The Academic looks neat though, and yes you can attach the lid to the underside of the deck box and keep them together _that_ way.
This deckbox is a luxury I wish I could afford. It looks slick, it is really nice to keep decks in there. I just love it. A great design by TCC
ive never said chest of drawers or that phrase in my life lol, must not be a west coast thing
I personally love gamegenic and dragon shield deckboxes. The 133 means you can fit 100 double sleeved cards with enough room for tokens 😊 I use the gamegenic xl 120 for the same reasons excellent quality as well.
I think the divider is for tokens, some decks can use like a dozen or more different types in Commander.
Nice! Y’all and the prof make some great content!
I think the separator is for tokens, the commander has its slot that you completely overlooked on the short side of the box next to the deck
MANY Yugioh players ask the question:
What the hell is that plastic piece for?
(It’s for various things like toploaders, graded cards, etc.)
Been loving watching y'alls interactions and collabs!
cool as heck, sad I missed my chance to back this - I could use a new deck box for this branded list I'm building!
Ngl, figured Largibalf was the most responsible out of you all, but like...what even was this? Comes across as drunk, yelled at by Pøl to do it and that he was upset they werent sent it for free and with a personalised message o,O.

The lid can go on the bottom as well as to not be lost
A great follow up to the skit Milano made about unusual deck boxes
the yugioh version Tolarian academy is duel academy from Arc V only Tolarian academy recruiting process is extremely harsh
Plus all the timeywimey shenanigans Tefari got up to while Urza was going ham on Phyrexia because Yawgmoth decided Dominaria was the perfect place to invade.
Congrats!!
The small slot where the main deck goes is where you put your commander card the other slot is fkr tokens or flesh and blood cards
Both them deck boxes were super snazzy imagine how easy it would be to have a slightly customized box buying 2 or 3 and mixing the pieces to have multicolored boxes I would do Royal blue and a dark green if they have the options
Super clean box!
May or may not have ordered about 8 of those boxes lol I can't wait to get mine
Very cool! So many options!
I wish the kickstarter was still available, never touched a MTG card until June last year, so I sadly missed out on getting an academic.
You could probably fit yugioh decks in the little pull out drawers.
I sadly missed the kickstarter window for this :( would love to pick one up
The divider is likely for tokens. Also I would love to see a video going over larrys commander decks, im not sure if thats too far out of the realm of the content you want to release on the channel but it would be nice
I wish I would have backed him! That looks nice!
Yeah. Chester drawers.
Might get one for my Yu-Gi-Oh stuff.
I can't wait till I get my box in. I backed it the day it launched
Can this deck box still be purchased, or is this strictly for backers?
So currently it's Kickstarter exclusive but gamegenic has said if there's enough interest they would make and sell more
Larry, can we see you sharing your decks?!
I'm curious why they changed this channel name from "Team APS Plus" to "APS Amplifier."
SAME Exact one i got too. lol
Please, get that magic game between larry and the professor going and you guys watch and comment
Quite nice!
Link to the product?
Larry videos make everything better tbh
❤️❤️❤️
I used to say Chester draw 😂😂
Who called it Chester draws?
That's fresh
wheres mine
Kinda dissatisfied with mine
From how they are reviewing this deck box, you just know they don't play any card games.
