जगजीत सिंह साहब जैसे लोग हज़ारों सालों में जन्म लेते है, उन्होंने लाखों दिलों पर राज किया है और आज भी लोगों के दिलों मै जिन्दा है

वास्तव में जगजीत जगजीत नही ग़ज़लजीत थे दिलजीत थे
उनकी ग़ज़लें उनकी आवाज़ मानो बारिश के बाद मिट्टी की भीनी,सौंधी ख़ुशबू।
उनकी आवाज़ कानो में इस क़दर घुलती है मानो मुँह में मीठा रसगुल्ला

Jagjit Singh was a friend of my husband at DAV College Jullandhar. Both of them were on College music team participating and winning at inter college and Youth festival competitions. Jagjit was a ghazalgo and my husband Bhajan or light music singer. My husband had sweet memories of Jagjit Singh and Sudarshan Fakir Sahib.
Alas my husband is no more to endorse my comments. RIP the three departed souls.

जिस दिन जगजीत सिंह की मृत्यु हुई, वो दिन अविश्वसनीय था। अपने फेवरिट की मौत दुख देती है मगर अपने की मौत आँख में आँसू लाती है। मैं उस दिन बहुत रोया था और मेरी बीवी परेशान थी; इनको क्या हो गया!!

JAGJIT JI was not only the KING OF GHAZALS but a SUPER HUMAN being; he had a big heart and was always there for his colleagues and friends.
I had the fortune of doing one of his first shows in Delhi at Modern School and then a few others; he was a perfect gentleman and in his passing away the WORLD lost its GHAZAL KING.

10 अक्टूबर मेरा जन्मदिन है लेकिन 2011 में दादा के जाने के बाद से मेरा जन्मदिन मेरे ही लिए मनहूस दिन हो गया तब से लेके आज तक मेने अपना जन्मदिन नही मनाया
में अपनी जिंदगी में जगजीत दादा से 3 बार मिला था मेरी जिंदगी में दादा की बहुत ज्यादा अहमियत है उनकी कई गजलों के बोल के सहारे मेने अपनी जिंदगी को ढाला है जो अब दादा के बगैर बहुत अधूरी है
