Blade was distributed by New Line Cinema under WB, that’s why it’s on here. At the time the film was made Marvel has been struggling financially and was letting pretty much anyone make and distribute films based on their IP’s

Blade is still a genuinely great film. If only they'd fix that bad CGI at the end!
I don't know, even CGI from 5 years ago is starting to look dated. I don't believe in fixing bad effects in films. Perfection is a pedestal that can't be reached. I say leave the effects the way they are.

as a kid I thought marvel comics were more mature because they were more confusing and had more characters and more plot but I agree that dc comics bacame more interesting to me as I got older

Isn't blade a Marvel character
He is, it's during the time when Marvel gave movie rights to others, like Hulk to Universal or the X men to 20th century Fox (sorry... I mean studio). But I once heard and don't know why people say if a Marvel movie isn't made by Marvel, then it is not a Marvel movie. Pretty sure the Once Upon a Deadpool trailer have poked fun if that. I just wish any studios will make an agreement to work together instead of buying them.
