The hut @ 1:22 and the green boat @ 1:25 belonged to my Father who passed away about 15 yrs ago aged 75. Some of those fisherman's huts and boats are still used by the community' Leave everything as you find it.

@@adethoem7815 The path he walked up-to the first hut was well worn, that might be a clue.

@@welshgingerhobo 50 years ago the jetty was in much better condition and the harbor actually filled up with water at high tide. I fished out of there as a lad in the 1970's.

@@welshgingerhobo I spent my entire childhood down port Mulgrave with my grandad and my brothers it was a great way to learn about nature and wildlife and also lots of life skills. Rock pooling was fantastic all sorts of sea life down there and we used to go jetting and fossil hunting my grandad gave us the best childhood and there was a write up in a German magazine about him his nickname was mocka because of all the pranks he liked playing on people 🤣🤣🤣🤣 he pushed me and my brothers in a wheelbarrow from hinderwell village up to port bank and then when we were ready to go home he'd push us back again 🤣 so if anyone ever saw a guy pushing a wheelbarrow through the village to port with 3 kids in it that be my grandad 😊 thank you for sharing your video

@@janniehalliday5117 Hiya Jannie, was your grandad called Frank? The reason I ask is that my dad used to have a shed and boat down there but he passed away 15 yrs ago aged 75. He was good friends with a fisherman (bit younger than him) called Frank who I think had German ancestry. I used to go with dad and Frank rod fishing for cod on Boulby deeps in the (about 8 miles offshore) in the summer holidays in the mid 1970's. Happy days.
