I Have nothing but Respect for you, dude. anyone who can make his living doing a nasty ass job like this and not Puke, or Give up from the back breaking work, is a winner in my book. plus its a job that *HAS* to be done, and you're helping a lot of people by doing it.
I'm going to piggyback off this comment- but I and a few of my coworkers have been debating on taking over the business of one of their fathers upon our retirement.
For context, we're a bunch of cops in one of the worst cities in America( the best one). Anyway, we figured that digging up and draining literal cesspools is easier than the figurative cesspools we deal with currently.
@@Absolutely_Nobody NYPD or LAPD sucks...
@@3ne2nr4life Not even close.
@@Absolutely_Nobody Detroit? Chicago?
It’s a nasty job, but it’s relatively easy.
My grandfathers tank hasn’t been clean for 30 years i think so we are going to get it done now after watching this lol! 😅
I can't believe that I want to see the septic tank lol
@@Beem_beepome too 😆 🤣 😂 😹
I bet you still dont ahah if you haven't in the last 30
wear a mask while cleaning xD
Funny
They need to get that thing pumped out more often and they should have risers installed for how far the septic is from the surface
Dude is so patient and respectful to his customers, answers any and all questions
This work is way more than your shorts make it seem. Glad to see you doing well.
Great work ! Our country requires a 3 year pump/inspection. Never seen my guy use a crust buster, but 3 years probably not enough time to make that kind of crust. The crust buster shur remains me of an ice auger for ice fishing. Cheers from Wisconsin!
I think the crust buster is a modified ice drill, I thought the same thing
Digging your assistant's Buc- ee's shirt. Representing.
Just had mine pumped last week. Been 15 years. Looked lie this one. I dug out both tank lids before pumper arrived. Easy job.
Because of your channel, i have decided to dig up the lids the next time i get the septic emptied so i dont have to pay extra for them to dig it up (which i wasnt exactly aware i was doing until recently) :)
Hope you got that rock/piece of dirt out of the pipe when you were done
That one didn't seem to be all that sledged up as much as the others You have done. just kind of hard to find the lids. Good Job! I've learned alot from this channel, makes me want to dig up my lids and take a look inside.
Great video as always! Do you mind when clients are curious and watch you work? This guy was really nice and considerate. Thanks for the content!
I'm an electrician and I don't mind people watching me work and asking questions just as long as they are not rude or annoying
Someone must have eaten corn recently. I seen it in there when you were hitting it with the crust buster lmao 😂
I hope he got some risers
He did! Going back soon to install them and pump another tank on his property 🔥💩
@@PoorPumperSociety good since that tank is pretty far from the surface
nice job.
I've been watching a lot of videos recently due to rental property tank issues. this video was nicely put together
Mad respect for your get up and hustle! You make that money brother!
Great job bro, I really love your videos keep up the hard work
Thank you for doing this job!
I can't imagine not servicing a tank for 20 years! We had to service ours EVERY year.
The ole Texas beaver 😂. Awesome job and keep up the great work!
Damn, so that tanks hasn't been open since I was born, that's crazy
Ok, I'm here to say that customer's 10 gallon hat and mustache are so Texan that William Travis is proud!
Shut up
@@goead 🤣🍆🍩💦
Crazy that lids are buried, but guess back in day prolly told never need to open it lol, leave for the next guy type of thing. Love the smooth 70s p#$n tunes too 😆 🤣 😂
I worry about the septic at my dads place. We took the house over after he passed. When I had it pumped the water was almost clear. Granted the house was vacant for almost 2 years when I had it pumped. I wasn’t sure the last time he had it done.
The drain field was redone in 1999. The tank is original from 1972..1000 gal. One port to pump from. Anything I need to worry about? It seems to be working well. Just the age worries me.
Love watching your videos. I have a cottage in Maryland. Put in 1986 , has never been cleaned out. Father in law stated years ago , lid was a shove length away from water shed. Never mentioned a second lid. How far apart should they be roughly? So I can locate & have cleaned out.
Wish I could have you come out. Thanks
25 dollars extra to watch, 50 dollars extra to help
Coffin tank. I like that
How has their leach/drain field survived that lack of maintenance and still be operable?? Seeing these tanks that have never been serviced amazes me that instead of finding the tank and pumping them out, they would be installing a new drain field.
I bet that smelled like money 😂
Hey another great video, thank you. Can you tell me please what did people do before we had trucks and big pumps to come and pump it out? or didnt they need to back in the old days?
12:00 - Representing Buc-ee's!
Good job 👏
Good Ole poop smoothie 11:33 awesome jobbro...
I was helping my buddy find a septic tank with my camera and locator and it wound up being 9 ft under his brand new Ray's gardens built on top of an existing garden. My sea snake says it can locate all the way down to 14 ft underground but I had a hell of a time even going down the 8 ft 8 in to find his tank. What do you guys do if the tank is just too deep for whatever reason?
Build another one on top of it?
So, I'm curious, how often do you run across lids that have no handles on them?
I ask this because my tank consists of two compartments with huge concrete slabs on top. No rebar or rubber/plastic handle for either side. Was a real pain in the ass to dig up a few years ago.
I do cable, and I can say that I hate when the customer is hovering over you and asking questions the whole time. I get it, but at the same time, I just wanna tell them to leave me alone and let me do my job. Lol
Hard cause as a customer and a tech I want to know how things work but at the same time I like space to do my job. That’s why RUclips is so great
Same here. HVAC tech. Most dont have a clue what they are talking about. Can you imagine someone coming into an operating room and asking a surgeon questions while he is performing surgery.
Always love music choice & always hate when the end arrives.
Your job is awesome, how do you manage to stand the smell though?
First :) For some reason, I find these videos fascinating. Crazy the amount of people who have no clue how to take care of their septic system !
Mini trackhoe save your back . Good job good video yal stay safe
Daniel from central Mississippi
Yessir! Working on getting a little micro excavator to haul behind my truck
13:23 i saw pieces of corn
When you said old school method though you were bring out divining rods to look for a source of water glad I was wrong
i was surprised Mr Poor Pump Society did not use his little tracking device that you flush down the toilet like the last few videos back
@@rogerstlaurent8704can’t use them if the tank is backed up
The crust daddy🤣
How long does it usually take to pump a full tank? Not including any complications that you probably run into on a regular basis
I see risers.
Another successful poop smoothie. Smell’s like Money!
Have you ever drop the camera in the septictanc
GET RISERS
It's fun to watch people who know their shit do shit.
Don't know why the installing contractors back fills over the lids leave them accessible
does your girl agrees that it smells like money?!?
Yes, she agrees ❤️
that is so disrespectful to not have your lid easily accessible, no excuse
Who said that 4 years of College would not pay off.
So this is what happens to stuff bought at HEB?! 😂
👍👍
Why would they cover the tank opening over like this?, seems a little dense to me.
Why is he standing there smh let me do my job
Man I thought the same exact thing like damn
Its either that or waiting for the inspector to let me finish my shit show lmao plumber problems
Nigga it’s his property 🤣
When I tell the costumer to go flush the toilet it's because I'm tired of him being their next time the costumer ask me questions I'm going to tell him to look at your channel
The music at end is way tooo nice and smooth for a SHIT video.
Wouldnt think youd get too many looky loo customers in that business..
Does "baby" have a name ?
DIABEETUS!!!!
That was the true "Honey Hole"!
Next time do a test, just add rid-x and see if that works.
Rod x doesn’t work
No pos…ta cagon
First and love the videos
is it wrong to eat and watch your content
What a crappy job......glad you get paid for it :)
What is the button on the steering wheel you push to start the pump?
