Nice video. Wonderful to see you devoting so much time to your heeler! Mine isn't mouthy and I'd never do anything to encourage that.
My heeler will chill in my desk footwell while I work, but only for about 45 minutes or so (depending on how tired she is or, better yet, exhausted); she prefers being outside in a 2-acre fenced yard. You apparently don't have a fenced yard given that you play fetch with Valjean on a rope. One of the reasons my ACD likes being outside is that ACDs are watchdogs. Watchdogs gotta watch. In very rainy/stormy weather she still is outside, protected from the elements in her igloo. And she has places that provide shade in the summer.

I do something similar with my lab when I can't go out, sometimes she looks at me like am crazy and can hear her say just leave me alone and let me nap.
