Hi Alexandra. When I first saw the stencil I was wondering what it said. Flip it over, bloom. :) And yes, I've used both sides of a stencil also. I think of colored gesso as a primer with your choice of color built in. Usually saves a step.

Never had problems using gesso true a stencil. You have to be sure you take heavy gesso...
What is the meaning of coloured gesso??? Its primer.. not finish... *confused*
