Looking good Scott! This reminds me I have a bunch of knotty alder cut offs from a finish job I just did. Planning on building some bodies in this fashion.
Looking good! Pine can interesting. I made a couple of bodies with pine from my kids bunk beds - they turned out fine (Steve Winwood played and signed one of them ...), but it's certainly different working with pine. My Jurgs cup build is pitch pine - that's a whole different world of fun ... I'm impressed with how close your glue-up tolerances are - I don't have the experience (or cojones) to work so tight! Cheers.
Looking forward to seeing this build come to life.
Always good stuff, Scott! Thanks for the content.
looking cool get on with it!

I've been so busy lately and coming back and being able to watch you bro working on guitars is so therapeutic... 😌
That’s the kinda shit I like to hear. 😀
Your processes are always fun to watch. I'm curious as to the paint scheme and the outcome.
The plan at the moment is to paint almost everything yellow and paint the "pick guard" white.
aw man, left us all.... pining for the next episode....

Great to see your take on the tele!

They were a little closer than intended. 😅
Worst comes to worst thickness wise that leaves an excuse to put a top set on and stain / color that but still paint the pine.
That was my first thought before ripping strips. But I really wanna paint the whole thing. I have a plan 😅
@@BoneheadGuitars After a think on the subject I was wondering... Bondo?
@@borgonianevolution Never worked with it. My plan has been epoxy
