Nice job overall. Here are a couple of nitpicks about rules, just for posterity. (I assume you've finished the gameplay already and the delay in releasing is due to editing chores.) 1. I believe your Starting Town does not count as a resource. So that means you gave yourself a big boost at the start of the game. :( 2. On the other hand, in Solo Variant 1, you ARE FIRST PLAYER ALL THE TIME. It says so in the Journey into Darkness rules, halfway down page 3 on the right. So you could get that subtraction on Town Events Rolls, and that would have prevented you from losing your resource. Points 1 & 2 kind of balance each other, at least so far as I see it based on Video Pt 2. When you lost the resource, did you deduct a Prestige point? 3. When you want to purchase something during Auction House subphase, you COULD trade in other spoils, and use that in lieu of coins. 4. At the 12:00 mark, you set a precedent on the question of whether NPCMs doing encounters pass along their spoils and salvage coin booty to the faction that hired them. You didn't keep the Alpha Centauri Armor, but then later you DID keep the Autographed Bat and the Pro Fishing and Tackle Gear, which were again acquired through a mercenary, not your party. I can see both sides of that issue, but whichever you think is better, do it across the board, right? 5. At 16:15 you are following instructions on Mission Card related to the water tower experiment. It doesn't say move instantly to a Resource, though (or "place your party at spot X"). It says Travel. So you should have waited until the next turn to do that. This is minor, since it was so close it only meant a 1 week delay, but having it that turn influences resources. 6. During the Solo alternative to Auction House, you can purchase the Event-type spoils that say NA on them for 5 coins. I am not sure if the Pristine American Flag you came across and demured on follows the same rule or not. But probably it does. You can definitely equip an Ally, for which you shied away from at 36:10, for Chris the Trophy Spouse. You would have had to pay the 4 coins it says in the text of the card, and can never sell it (that's what the NA means there.) (These two issues are also laid out in Solo rules, page 4 on the right side.) I am definitely looking forward to the next installment in the series!!!!

I always appreciate people helping me with rules errors so this is fantastic :-) I was CERTAIN that starting town location counted as a resource and spent the past 10 min trying to find the spot in the rulebook to back me up but I can't find it so even on that rule I must concede! Great learning material. Not much info is out there. I got 2nd edition and do I have to remove red dotted action cards for solo variant 1? Sub'd.
