Wow - not sure how many Trek fans are here but, I was surprised to find out Mrs Danvers was the High Vulcan priestess who fused Spock's katra back into his body in the 'Search for Spock' xD Pretty cool...
you can tell that she doesn't look like a scared cat anymore now that she's learned about rebecca and everything. she seems to have a calm about her now
@Cybele1986 You are absolutely correct! The suicide note about being bored was just George keeping his facade up until the end. The note to his sister to"don't be sad. I am just anticipating the inevitable by a few years s the real note!
OMG! it's shere Khan! i just realized it. the whole time i was like WHERE HAVE I HEARD HIS VOICE??? IT WAS DRIVING ME INSANE! and it's from the JUNGLE BOOK!!!
@Eston83 it's his voice that gets me, LOVE his voice!!!! he's a really good scumbag in 'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir', you should see that one, GREAT movie!!!
George Sanders didn't commit suicide because he was bored, he killed himself because he was lonely, sick and depressed. He was a fragile, insecure man to begin with and went completely downhill after his wife Benita died in 1967 after an extremely painful battle with bone cancer. The Gabors, his stepdaughter Juliet, and his sister Margaret were all devoted to him but he didn't want to become an invalid and become burdensome to his loved ones.
@recordedpodcast thats odd,i had to read this book in english class this year, and of cousrse my teacher is Dr. Nerd and goes into every detail of the book, but he did find a few things in the book that i wouldn't have noticed, and he figured out the aproximate age of the main character and maxim, i guess maxim is supposed to be 42 and the main character 21, ill have to ask my teacher how he figured it out but he also pointed out a few other cool things from little details i ever noticed.
@n0iwont It's feminism gone mad! Too many women glaring at guys and accusing them of being chauvenistic when they offer them help or open doors for them...
Fabulous dialogue!!! Great actors...
Thanks for the upload.
I love the dialouge in This movie. Its excellent and It definently keeps the watcher interested.
I'm very grateful to this channel for uploading this classical movie ❤❤❤❤
Sanders has always played the bad guy in just about every movie he has been in.
George Sanders was THE BEST at being charming and oily at the same time.
Absolutely :D On the other hand, he would have been a marvellous Sherlock Holmes, I think.

I find Maxim and Sanders soo attractive...and I'm a lesbian!
Is that guy trying to blackmail Maxim?
The guy at 2:19 with Laurence and Joan he was in Waterloo Bridge.
i dont know, maxim is suposed to be like 40, and the narrator 20, the guy playing max is a little young.
The film's almost over now, Sara! That means it's nearly time to come and find your Sam... I wish anyway

I don't know why everyone keeps swooning over Lawrence Oliver..he was/is an incredibly bad actor. I like George Sanders much better.
