- This is continuation of our North kerala food and travel journey, we started our Kerala Tourism from Kochi and went to tourist locations of Central kerala then to South kerala and there upon reached North kerala.

Are you sure it is quail? It could be a small breed of chicken, or perhaps a Cornish hen (a young chicken) instead of a fully grown chicken. Just wondering.

@@bosgaurus1 if you are not from India , in Kerala chicken Malayalam name kozhi, quail Malayalam name kaada-kozhi.... So the vloger maight thought it's a variety of chicken... Also in some local shops people can't speak English or Hindi..... In Kerala people speak Malayalam language, communication difficulty also there... vloger don't know local language

Kada Kozhi Fry is Japanese Quail Fry. Though it is called kozhi, it is a different bird. And pickle you ate with Thalassery biryani was not of mango. It was lemon pickle.

Harish it's wonderful to view on your youtube channel the state of kerala... it's places of interests, food, friendly people and culture. I have been 5o kerala twice and visited most breathtaking places, top restaurants and hotels. The four and five stars hotels and restaurants there have adjusted their cuisine internationally for foreigners . I'm looking forward to my third visit in amazing kerala.
