Jorge Alberto Gilces Vaca Anyone can beat Bayonetta. The problem lies in the fact that this Bayonetta in particular rivals this Roy in skill. If you're insinuating that Komorikiri is an unskilled Roy, that's your opinion and you're entitled to that but what you're saying is too vague. It's true, but I could also say that a skilled Jigglypuff can beat Bayonetta. Anyone who is skilled enough can beat any opponent if possess greater skill.

AllthepeopleSaid HUEH Unfortunately Roy has very poor approach options which is why I only partially agree with you. Sweet spot Nair and fair can both be unsafe on shield, unless you go past and cross their shield with a run in Nair, other than that his first hit Nair, dancing blade is generally better than dash attack, but overall Roy has to be passive aggressive and make use of extended dash dancing and carefully space his attacks, or just go for some sort of grab.
Just some bird actually nair and fair are safe on shield without crossing up if u space it while getting the sweet spot, even if it’s sour spot too.
Lordbeerus123 in my experience, you can space the nair so the tip of the blade hits the shield and you will be safe at that point. Of course if the opponent drops shield and you land the tipper nair, you get nothing off that, so the crossup nair is still the best option. As a final note, roy vs bayo may not be such a terrible mu as everyone thinks. Yeah, roy is combo food and has poor recovery. But this is true for every mu, it’s not like bayo will edgeguard him or combo him more than the rest of the cast. On the other hand, roy has powerful kill setups (on tech read) and great grab game, wich hurts bayo quite a bit. He also has blazer to score “early” kills while abusing the super armor, since bayo is so light. The only real problem is roy loves throwing off hitboxes and bayo has wt, but that’s the point of the neutral, you condition bayo to wt and punish with grabs, fsash or blazer. Overall it’s a fun mu, bayo has the edge ofc but it’s not like, 70-30 or even 60-40 imho. We’ll see.

Nah I main roy. The fact his uptilt hitbox isnt consitent, his up b needs more range. usable dair, more damage on his fair/ range. less lag after up b. then he'd be solid. His only good attribute is his speed but against a limit cloud hes slower so lol. his moves need to be better.
Celtic Wind his uptilt hitbox is consistent if u sweet spot it, that’s like stating marths tippers are inconsistent, all depends on the player. His fair already does a good amount of damage, and can be spaced to where it’s safe on shield. You’re basically trying to say he needs to like marth, except with his same reverse tipper properties, ruining roys gameplay and play style in general. He’s already good, people just don’t pay attention to what he’s able to do, every character has there flaws.
but his sweetspot is tiny. needs to be larger. his fair does 6% and 11% which isnt that impressive. its not safe on sheild against most characters. and yes marths dair is soo much better wish they gave it to roy. hes good and a fun character but still needs to play perfect to do decent against top tiers. you have 0 margin of error off stage and have to constantly find ways in against characters just as fast as you so ehhh. top 20 yes but too tough working it past that.
Celtic Wind he’s definitely doesn’t need to play perfect to do decent vs top tiers, but I see your point. At least we can both agree on him being top 20.

Dude I usually HATTE watching bayonetta, but man tweak makes her look awesome. He uses a lot of combos that are unorthadox for most other bayos. I feel like all bayos play kinda the exact same, but this is pretty damn great
