I have always heard that big blue was IBM but now big blue is Miller.
What's the thickness capability and what's the duty cycle ❓ Also, what is that "POST-WELD PROCESSING" (looks like laser cleaning/etching) ❓
Hello. Thank you for your questions. The thickness capability would really depend on the material that you are working with. The duty cycle is 2 kW at 30°C. You are correct. You're able to post-weld process using the laser's cleaning function! For more information on the OptX™ 2kW, please visit www.millerwelds.com/support/system-setup/optx-handheld-laser-welder-info.
Great work sir 👏
Will it work with aluminum?
Yes, the OptX 2kW is best suited for the following materials:
- Stainless steel
- Mild steel
- Aluminum
- Galvanized
- Nickel alloys
- Titanium
- Brass
- Copper
- Dissimilar metals (e.g., stainless steel to copper)
@@MillerWelders Titanium too, eh? Now I'm all excited.
Is there an aws cert for this?
Waste of a video without show of performance.
No thanks.
