They both got a point. Odell's catch from a skill standpoint without looking into the but just the catch is the tougher catch. But when you look at the moment in the game that the catch happened, JJ's catch is so crucial that you can argue his catch was the better catch because that was a tough do or die moment.
But JJ did it in coverage and fought for it one handed while the defender had two. Odell did it one handed while being alone. We all know catching in coverage is more difficult.
Even the helmet catch... which was still impressive cause u don't want to lose it had help with the helmet. This one was all him with one hand and taking it away from a guy with two hands on it as he's falling. AND... kept ball from touching the ground.

I said it yesterday and I'll say it today. Given circumstances and just straight mechanics, this was a superior to catch to OBJ's. Both are legendary, but it's going to be hard to top this one.
That catch was phenomenal and let’s not forget how good S.Diggs catch was in the same game. They are both great receivers. Jettas soon coming for devonte’s WR crown though 👀

Single handedly won me my fantasy match up yesterday. I was kind of bum because I usually don't like picking receivers in the first round, but he's going bonkers this season. The guy is on track for a great career
Best game of the Season so far. Not taking anything away from Jefferson but the reason it didn't hit the ground was because it landed on the defender's shoe's then he brought it in. The fact that he stayed with it the entire play was outstanding.
First thing I thought of when I saw the replay of Jefferson's catch was Julian Edelmen's grab in Super Bowl LI--both cheat-code level clutch plays at the critical moment. What an absolutely spectacular athletic effort.
5 better receiver in the NFL right now... that 'great catch' was made by the CB... Jefferson just took it from him. Why you think everybody's saying OBJs catch was better?😅
Give the Vikings their damn respect!!! Beat the super bowl favorite at buffalo when they were trailing by 17 towards the end of the 3rd quarter. It seemed basically impossible for Minnesota to come back and somehow they did. Easily the greatest regular season game I’ve ever witnessed! The Vikings have proven that they win ball games when it matters. The debate can officially end on who won the Diggs trade, it’s Minnesota no question. @@cravenmoorehead6265 they know that it’s just sitting down right know a more experienced player knows the right play would be to just knock the ball away even though they still would try for the pick it’s like the Chubb run against jets if he slides guarantee they win but he wouldn’t expect going for the touchdown would end up with them losing like how you would think going for the interception would end up in the bills losing
Because he did help Jefferson keep control of the ball. That's why.
Wild game!! Don’t remember anyone like that but I think that run by DCook set it all in motion!!
I’ve never rooted for the Vikings before yesterday.😂
😂😂😂On Gawd, had me shouting
Same here 😅
me neither. i watched the game for JJ -- and the usual Posh Spice Allen / Buffalo Dulls meltdown(s) in a big moment LOL
Bandwagon
They both got a point. Odell's catch from a skill standpoint without looking into the but just the catch is the tougher catch. But when you look at the moment in the game that the catch happened, JJ's catch is so crucial that you can argue his catch was the better catch because that was a tough do or die moment.
But JJ did it in coverage and fought for it one handed while the defender had two. Odell did it one handed while being alone. We all know catching in coverage is more difficult.
@@jkutnink87 odell was covered lol he was just got held. It was a penalty lol thats even more in favor for arguing that odells was harder
flag was thrown on the JJ play too. watch the clip again
Even the helmet catch... which was still impressive cause u don't want to lose it had help with the helmet. This one was all him with one hand and taking it away from a guy with two hands on it as he's falling. AND... kept ball from touching the ground.
Justin jefferson will be an all time great WR.. dude has been top 5 in REC yards every year since he’s entered the league as well.. dudes an animal man
I think Justin's is better in context look at the rest of his catches in this game and his Stat line Justin is incredible he was a huge part of that lsu domination
I said it yesterday and I'll say it today. Given circumstances and just straight mechanics, this was a superior to catch to OBJ's. Both are legendary, but it's going to be hard to top this one.
Glad I watched this game even as a ravens fan .I knew bills celebrated too fast on the 1 yard line 😂
Bro Sameee i was like bro we got a bye week I'll just go to any game and boom, literally game of the year😂
@@victorayarza2893
Go Ravens, thanks Vikings. I'm rooting for every team that plays against Kansas City and Miami for the next few weeks.
Ikr. Did they forget josh Allen is there QB. He’s Farve 2.0. Without the clutchness and success and stolen money. 😀
That catch was phenomenal and let’s not forget how good S.Diggs catch was in the same game. They are both great receivers. Jettas soon coming for devonte’s WR crown though 👀
Coming? It’s silly to say there is anyone better at WR in the game today.
that catch was madness.. bruh i thought it was a pick and game was over.. What a catch.. Shannon is right about the moment, cuz without that catch the game was over..
Both catches are phenomenal tho.. LSU stays winning
Man Justin Jefferson is a beast!!! Dude made clutch catch and clutch catch yesterday. That trade literally worked out perfectly for both teams.
Beast mode, all heart plays. Man has been balling since day one though so can't say there was ever a surprise
Single handedly won me my fantasy match up yesterday.
I was kind of bum because I usually don't like picking receivers in the first round, but he's going bonkers this season. The guy is on track for a great career
what happened Monday night football Darius slay looked up Jefferson people forgot lol
@@karimahmed7850 because it was 6 weeks ago 🤦🏿♂️ definitely not the same team, especially the mentality of them....they keep fighting
@@NCYungin we will see in January
Best catch of all time
That's not your uncle's first cousin, that's 5 chains LOL. I don't know how Skip kept a straight face I would have started bawling.😂
One of the greatest catches in nfl history 👏
Best game of the Season so far. Not taking anything away from Jefferson but the reason it didn't hit the ground was because it landed on the defender's shoe's then he brought it in. The fact that he stayed with it the entire play was outstanding.
The best catch I ever seen
First thing I thought of when I saw the replay of Jefferson's catch was Julian Edelmen's grab in Super Bowl LI--both cheat-code level clutch plays at the critical moment. What an absolutely spectacular athletic effort.
That part at the end 😂 Skip was irritated “Next Question” 🤣🤣
Skip can’t handle being wrong even when he looks like an idiot 😂
The way Skip slides these names in. That Brandon "used" Carr slid in so smoothly lmao
🤣🤣🤣, Skip is hilarious
But can't take it when it happens to him
I would still give Odell’s catch the edge but Jefferson’s catch gotta be up there
Dhop under the legs catch is still one of the wildest catches I have seen lol
Skip keeps calling that man Brandon 'used' Carr lmao
As a Vikings fan for 25 years 🔥🔥🔥😩👏🏽 I’m excited we getting the respect we deserve
Man, it was crazy how the DB had two hands in play and Jefferson had one
Man I also didn’t know the Vikings had Peterson 😮
JJ is way better than any other WR in the NFL, period.
5 better receiver in the NFL right now... that 'great catch' was made by the CB... Jefferson just took it from him. Why you think everybody's saying OBJs catch was better?😅
I love how Shannon is the only mainstream commentator to never sleep on the Vikings
Not really. Someone picked cousins to be the MVP.
INCREDIBLE CATCH!!!!
let’s not forget the amazing one handed catch by stefon diggs in the same game!!!
JJ is the best receiver in the league and at this rate he’s going on to be top 10 WR ever.
This is easily the best catch of all time, considering game situation as well
obj was better
@Rafi Wolffe yes
@@deezpleez3832 mmm nah
The immaculate reception?
@Rafi Wolffe yeah I think tyree and edelmans catch are better
It’s crazy nobody giving pat pete no type of praise he had 2 picks and they needed both of them
All the CB had to do was knock it down. But he's a rookie and wanted the glory and the interception, the rest is history.
Jefferson has propelled himself to the best receiver in football and he doesn’t even have an elite qb throwing him the ball. Vikings are here and are for real. 8-1 Skol!!!!!!!!!!!
The best catch of all time, hands down
David Tyree
obj 10 times better
@@dryfizz9969 had a very good catch. Not this one though.
@@buddha8653 never
Tyree’s catch allowed the Giants to win the SUPER BOWL!!!! Y’all trippin’!
I spit out my fruity pebbles when Skip said “Brandon ‘used’ Carr 😂😂😂
We are witnessing this generations Randy Moss right now ladies and gentlemen. Jefferson’s catch is the greatest of all time!
Lmaoo bro relax.. ik ur obviously jk
@@joshuae4639 you must not watch JJ play, this man is for real! There ain’t a better wr out there.
@@coreyschmidt1720it ain't even in the conversation for greatest catch oat...it's so far from that and it's not even close. All thu I do agree that he's is a once in a life time talent
that play is the definition of an MVP.
"He doesn't make that catch they lose the game, OBJ made the catch and they still lost the game"
this is the most I've ever seen a national sports show talk about the vikings
Justin has been doing this since his LSU days
This catch and Randy The Goat Moss's one-handed catch on prime Revis, are the best catches I've seen!
Skip is an OBJ fan now that he might go to the Cowboys 😂🤣😂
I agree with Skip. Odell’s catch will always be remembered bro.
Justin Jefferson has to be in consideration for Offensive player of the year.
As a Boyz fan, im so glad to see these MoFo’s talking about someone else. Even when they do win, I don’t click on the videos because it’s f’ing annoying. The media are the ones that make everyone hate.
Glad to see them talking about a good game.
Absolutely insane clutch play from JJ!
This catch turned the game on its head. If he had missed the ball, Vikings would have lost fr
I was rooting for the Buffalo Bills to win the game but that was a heck of a catch 😮😮😮🔥🔥🔥
This was the win I needed to see. Vikes won on the road outside against a top tier Bills team. I believe now....Skol!!!!!
just hope you guys don’t face Philly in the championship game like in ‘17 lol good game by you guys tho 👍🏽
What an amazing catch!
I laugh at Brandon “Used” Carr every time 😂
Man catching strays and he not even in the NFL anymore lol
Odell did it falling backwards and three fingers on the ball with a defender on him
They are starting to upload these segments quicker and making them longer finally 😂
Yea I guess they got tired of the bootleg channels taking all their traffic
“That’s not your uncle First Cousins, that’s 5 chains!” 😂😂😂
That 4th down catch kinda feel like bills corner helped secured that catch lol
It’s harder because you are having to figure out where the resistance on the ball is and push against while landing hard and still bringing it in
Even if the ball’s decent was stabilized, that’s an added opposing force JJ has to account for - mid fall.
Pulling it free (2 hands to 1) without it popping into the air or touching the ground, while ignoring instincts to brace your fall, in potentially the last play in an away game… insanity.
It was the most impressive catch I have ever seen, hands down.....
I see where skip is coming from, but every person who actually has played football before knows that Jefferson’s catch was harder to do.
I watched this screaming in my shower. So happy I got to see this game live!
With the circumstances it’s best catch of all time
Relax...think ab what ur saying
I always knew Mike Zimmer was holding us back💯
Skip: "I think Baker could have pulled off some of these plays"
Shannon: "He can't even beat out P.J. Walker"
Skip IQ dip to negative when he talking about his favorites
I love how Shannon called out Skip still believing in Baker Mayfield after all this time while he’s already giving up on Josh Allen 🤣🤣
My hats off to that receiver. A star is born

An amazing throw.
Thank you.. good catch, BETTER throw!!
Man, shhh!!! The throw was to the db... if Jefferson wouldn't have leapt and some how gotten his one hand one the d*mn ball, the game would've been over!!! WTF was you watching?😳🤯😅😅 The db was just standing there like yes and then jj said not today buddy, I gotta saved my qb and team again!😅😅
@@ronaldpatterson1701 but the ball wouldn’t have gone that direction if the quarterback had not seen him and thrown it toward that area what quarter do you think this was shot and I think you were thinking of the wrong play 😗
@@alisterx8698 They're only talking about one play and on that play, cousins actually overthrew Jefferson and that's why he had to jump and one hand it, while taking it away from the defender... If the ball was thrown lower then he wouldn't have to jump and take it away from the defender cause Jefferson was in front of the that defender the whole time and therefore it would've been a simple throw and catch!🤔🤔 But because it was thrown so high, we're talking about all the other variants and therefore it wasn't an amazing throw, he simply threw that sh*t in the area of Jefferson and jj made an amazing catch!😳🤯 See how logic works!!😳🤯😅😅
@@alisterx8698 Just because a qb throws the ball in an area where receiver is, doesn't mean that it was an amazing throw like that wasn't or when cousin threw the ball in the area of his other receiver, but the ball was picked earlier in the game, it's just that this time, the receiver was able to make a superb play on the ball to catch it and prevent a third pick!🤔🤔
Greatest Catch Ever
Just relax
Best catch ever, not just the year. Difference between him and OBJ is the Vikings won
pushing it
Foh obj catch is unquestionably the best
