I like how the battery is placed, kung ang future ng vehicles is electric, dapat hot swappable mga batteries dahil you can't get stuck in a station waiting for your vehicle to be charged. Charging stations will just get too crowded. unless they can find a way to quick charge for 1 minute or less
may napanuod ako sa ibang bansa parang japan ata yun,,, pag need mo mag charge instead kukunin mo yung pinaka battery sa e-bike/ scoot then bibigyan ka nila ng fully charged battery...dapat when it comes to battery kahit diff. manufactrurer or brand is isang lang ang specifications and standards para pwede sila swap without being hassle on charging... epecially kung mejo malayo ang pupuntahan.. 😅
@@erwinpastores7682 I think that's Taiwan. Gogoro. It's a nice idea, pero there's the issue of battery health if ever we go for the subscription based battery. Pero yes, standardization dapat para mas mabilis ang transition.
I have to say, if I had the means, I would go straight to the nearest dealership for this bike. Such a beauty with so much potential. Electric, so lighter. Less effort to drive = more energy to do work. Power to weight ratio is top notch. Long term wise, we still have to know. But this is a great start. Concerned about the safety though; for both driver and the bike itself knowing we live in the Philippines. There's so much talk about that part haha. We're evolving people!
Sana may government subsidies din katulad sa ibang bansa for going EV para mas nakakaenganyo. Or give incentives to people that will choose EV over ICEs. For batteries, trade-in possibilities? Looking forward for an all EV future!
209k price is very reasonable since ev's on other countries is 3x more expensive than gasoline.. so we can say that features and performance of this unit is reasonable to compare into the branded motorcycle that is worth 70k -80k php.. but the big advantage of electric is less maintenance.. no expensive gas.. full pack of new technologies... so in the long run makakabawi ka din.. mind set ba... electric motorcycle converts the time of charging into saving.. while gasoline motorcycle converts your money for the gasoline to make some more time to make more money...
ganda ng intro. nasa heritage place tapos futuristic ang scoot. lahat is electric na talaga. bicycle nga may electric na din hangang sa mga truck. tapos yung pinas mayaman sa mineral na nickel so mas madaming demand na battery jan. sana hindi banyaga ang manguna pag dating sa point na yun... ganda ng pagreview mo ser zak sana may susunod pag e-scoot or e-bike ang mafeature nyo. ride safe and God bless.
Excited to see the innovations in the next 10-15 years for electric vehicles, whether e-bike, motor, o kotse. Eventually magiging kasing mura ng mga regular na Yamaha Mio at Honda click once the technology gets more mass produced and cheaper, parang mga iPhone at Android phone noong 2000s, ngayon makakabili ka na ng Realme o Xiaomi na malakas specs for cheaper.
I was thinking that EV's are actually quite good for small islands here in the Philippines. They should push them more also on small islands like Bohol and siargao.
It's ahead of its time, we still don't have electric charging stations, I think it's depends on your needs, it's not practical for long rides but it's just for those who can afford it and can accept its flaws
panalo yan s lahat ng ebike mahirap lng jan ung batt kc habang nababa ang power nya d n din nya mabigay ung power n gus2 mo pro thumbs up po ako jan.. n upgrade nman habang 2mtagal.. rs lods
150-200cc in terms of HP pero yung torque... 218Nm of INSTANT TORQUE. Kung may bigger tires ito at mas heavy duty battery, tapos low gearing, parang traktora na in terms of pulling power. In a gasoline engine hindi nagkakalayo ang Horsepower at Torque, but with electric, possible talaga itong numbers na ito dahil sa nature ng electric motors.
due to its quick response (torque kick) kaya need talaga magkaroon ng riding modes. Kapag naka full power ka and nalubak, you have the tendency to twist the throttle and most likely dumamba siya. Well, that's just me, regarding the riding modes based on my experience :)
battery yung nagpapamahal sa mga EVs sa ngayon. As long as walang alternative solutions sa current battery technology, the price will be steep for a long time until magstabilize yung demand.
Electric vehicles are ofcourse more expensive than internal combustion engine operated ones. Even in cars, EVs are much more expensive than those having ICEs. But somehow I agree with that. When it comes to motorcycles, i don't think i would switch to electric considering the fuel consumption that bikes get are still cheaper than cars. But 209k is actually a good value considering how much you would save in the long run.
Electric Vehicles will surely be the future. It is more eco-friendly and it is inevitable. Luckily, the Philippines is slowly adjusting and adapting to this concept (Electric Cars from Nissan, Hyundai and Toyota).
economy wise panalo yan, lalo na para sakin na naka solar ang bahay, pero range wise, ang best consumption ng mio i125 ko is 63.7km/L and worst was 53.5km/L. giving me a total range of 212-254km. until maka-encounter ako ng EV na kaya habulin atleast 80% ng range nyan, i'll stick s m3 ko.
Pano kaya ang rehistro sa LTO nito? That is the question I have kasi I see a lot of eMotorcycle review videos but they do not talk about the registrations and LTO regulations. That is why I still stick to eKick Scoooters and eBikes, para iwas MMDA and iwas registration, yet I can still travel up to 70km with 30% battery charge to spare
As much as I love the idea of a fully electric transportation in the future, I think fully electric motorcycles and cars aren't that practical yet here in the Philippines especially for longer travels - at least within the next 5-10 years as we wait for supporting infrastructure to develop throughout the country. For now, I think e-bikes and hybrids are the way to go if we want to go greener and save on rising fuel cost.
The more electric people buy the better infrastructure they get. So far it's a great second bike. For travels you have to have a gasoline one. For daily - electric

With this they failed big time as innovation advances (android OS) taking over hence the reason they fall behind with it's competitors. That is Nokias biggest mistake as you really cannot stop innovation as it is inevitable. Innovation and future advances are one of the reasons that makes life easier. if we can have a fast charger feature (i.e. 50% full cap in 1hr. or less time) and more efficient battery that can have an efficiency of about at least 50% from its original state and can last within 4-5year then it would be a game changer.

Everyday, the battery is dying, hopefully faster than the would be owner 😁
209k is pretty steep for mio sized bike with no abs at that.
Make it a maxi scoot and add in another battery and abs
battery yung nagpapamahal sa mga EVs sa ngayon. As long as walang alternative solutions sa current battery technology, the price will be steep for a long time until magstabilize yung demand.
What if the low battery travel to La Union from Manila? There are no charger places.
209k is not good to convince myself to switch.
