Do you have to book a ticket ahead of time, I was looking at the website and it's not clear if the tickets you can book online are general entry or for the tour. Would you recommend the tour?
I didn't miss it because i took my tour at the Uffizi with the Tour Guy!!! In fact, all of my tours i've taken in Italy have been with the Tour Guys and all have been awesome. Wouldn't book with anyone else. I forgot our tour guide's name, but she shows up on the video at :50. She was awesome, as were all of the guides with the Tour Guy. Now that i think about it, it was actually The Roman Guy. lol What the hell is going on Sean? lol
Hey! Continuing to make content until we can start welcoming non-EU customers back. For now, we're still running some tours daily. Excited for things to normally hopefully next summer. Hope all is well with you!
I was there a few years ago and waited at the entrance at around 07:30, even with Firenze Card in hand (i.e. short queue). As soon as the gallery opened, I zoomed over to the Botticelli paintings and had them all to myself for 20 minutes. Not long after, the massive tour groups started pouring in.. Also, I think Giotto's Ognissanti Madonna deserves to be in a ''must see at the Uffizi'' list.
Hello I am planning to visit the Uffizi and Accademia this Christmas 2021. I see that on of the requirements for entry to the museum for people outside Europe is a document of recognition. Does anyone know what that is? Is it a passport/ID card? I’m from the USA, I have not heard of this term.
Damn. I was disappointed to see Doni Tondo on your list. Only because it's my personal favorite and I selfishly don't want it to be too popular. It's a stunning, almost erotic painting, with those naked teenage boy-angels cavorting with each other while completely ignoring the holy family. You have to wonder who was Michealangelo's true subject here. Simply astounding.
Botticelli is my favorite painter ever! I can't wait to go back and see it again!
What an enjoyable video, thanks for so much valuable info!
Excellent video. Thank you soooo much for giving the room numbers.
Glad it was helpful!

Nice suggestion, I might go that route.
We are only going to be there one day so I'm not getting the Firenze card. Can you just go and purchase a ticket the day of?
Mira a cada santo le llega su dia
Y eso que tiene que ver con este video?
How many hours is the tour in the Uffizi without being rushed?
What is your favourite? Mine Birth of Venus and Medusa
Judith beheading Holofernes by Artemisia
I made a presentation on Medusa
As. Docent, I learned the purpose of the second floor.
Good job 👍🏼

Hi! Best to email us. info@thetourguy.com
Question, how do we purchase tickets from the US. I keep receiving a "not approved" when I use my credit card.
You are trying to do this on our website?
@@TheTourGuyVids I figured it out. Just booked a tour with you guys!!
@@Axlthis19 so cool. See you there!
Are you allowed to take pictures there?
Yes. No flash
How many hours is the tour in Uffizi without being rushed?
That’s a personal question. It depends on how long you want to look at masterpieces
As a person who uses blender and seeks for hdris often, I cannot stop seeing this place everywhere
I don’t know what this means
lots of love from pakistan
It’s great to hear the ‘why’ of ur tips.
Thanks for the reinforcement- trying to balance great info with a lot of action.
Craft?
Rushing the pictures is very annoying.

Gosh, why are all your commenters exposed? Creepy.

Can you please pronounce Uffizi correctly… it’s not “YOU-FEEZI”it’s “YOU-FEET-ZI”
It’s actually pronounced Uffizi
It was the Medici, who put on the second floor to house a cabinet. Filled with Cameos
That was the purpose of
the second floor
The background music is a little annoying 😂
