I’m sorry about your mom💔 I can kinda relate. When I was 32 I got a call one night saying my mom had a heart attack and unfortunately she’d passed away. She hadn’t even been sick. It was totally unexpected. I didn’t get chance to tell her how I feel or say goodbye. I was a total wreck. The world never felt the same. My biggest regret is that the last time we spoke we actually had an argument and we rarely argued. I thought I’d let things settle then call and apologise in a few days. I never got that chance. I now make sure that anyone important in my life knows how much I love them and if I ever have a disagreement I make sure it’s resolved before I go to bed at night. I feel your pain. I feel angry on your behalf that she had such a serious surgery and was sent home alone. I only recently found your channel through your Ren videos. I’ve been a fan of Ren for years but I’m only just discovering NF and finding his music relatable too, so I’m digging your channel 👌 If you want to listen to something a bit more cheerful and not so heavy, I recommend listening to ‘Power’ by Ren, or ‘what you want’ or ‘love music pt1-4’. I lost my Dad at 50, and it still hurts today. It sounds like the medical system failed your Mom. It seems after any surgery that serious an overnight stay is required. I lost my little brother last year and I didn't call him back either. Some of NF's best music doesn't have videos. That is because the story NF tells with his bars paints a better picture.

Yeah. Nf is mostly dark and very real. Which is good in it's own way. But I got some more upbeat songs that look to the positive. One of my favourite Artists is Toby Mac. He has a song called "Speak Life". And it beings a tears of joy to my eyes every time. Toby Mac has a song that features NF. That's called, "Till the Day I Die" and that is quite up beat. There is a song by "Matthew West". And he tackles the dark thing in a super positive and happy way in his song, "Hello, my name is". Also, the band that Toby Mac was originally apart of was Called DC Talk (Decent Christian Talk). And they have a song called, "In the light" and I feel that this song is just right for you. Even if you don't react to it, you can listen to it in your own time and I feel it's going to speek to you. And just something from my heart. You are a great person. I understand your heart. I for you and that God can show you his heart for you and his offer of life. Don't be afraid to reach out to God. Because he promises that when we pray and tell God where we are at and that we need help that God will give us peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind because of the one who made you and wants to help you through what life really is all about. Because I personally know that Christianity is mostly seen as catholic and Orthodox, and it's hard to explain, but that's not it at all. It's simply a person who seeks ultimate objective truth about really and why we are alive. And who finds that the one who made us left us a loveing note explaining all about the situation in the Bible. And who out of personal relationship with God our creator without whom we wouldn't exist understands God's plan for ultimate life where there is no more sin and death. No religious cult nonsense trying to do this and that with it. The way of salvation to the new life is very few people, and unfortunately that because we humans would rather be in control of morality because of even subtle selfish desires over others and at the expense of others. But to truly have a pure heart is so rare. It's both complicated and simple. But at least you can see that God definitely doesn't have any selfishness in him and that he will only provide pure love Now and in the New Earth. I am praying for you buddy. You got this.

NF is from Michigan and idolized Em growing up. Admits to him being a big influence of his music (especially the early stuff). However, most believe that Eminem dissed NF on the Ringer: “Especially an effing Recovery clone of me” Sounds really close to calling NF a recovery clone of him. On NF’s most recent album in Motto: “Oh, yeah, would've gave anything To be respected by the artist I was listenin' To, but not no more, them days are history” So I would be shocked to ever see EM and NF on a track together.

I grew up in the industry and performed when i was young, didn't have stage-fright then but somehow grew into it. I have that energy and presence that people are drawn to when i speak though and yes, it can be a curse when you dont relish the attention. NF's abuser was one of his mother's boyfriends whilst she had custody of her children. Nate used to really look up to Em but he was snubbed and kind of dissed in a track so that all went nowhere. Em's not a big fan of feats with white rappers - he's done so many flows and beats it's hard for any of them not to be compared to him in some way. I think he was still in the clutches of Capitol Records without the new distribution-only deal he has now when this album came out so probably had no say in whether MVs were created or not. Totally get it on the workplace thing btw - I got out of the office and worked from home over 15 years ago and couldn't imagine going back to it. There's always a price for that choice but it's well worth paying lol. Hit up Ren - Power for a more positive vibe than some !

I have similar issues with my mother passing away. She called and left a voicemail she sound all excited to tell me something. 2 days later, she was in the hospital, and the day after that, she had passed away. Never did get to find out what she was so excited about that day. I wish I would have saved a voicemail like you had.
