Now I am hearing about odisha from lots of people including foreigners. All good things like how our govt managing natural disasters and how Odisha is improving its infrastructures. I am from neighbouring andhra and I am often amazed when I travel to Odisha.
Bumpy roads suddenly become smooth when entering odisha and it always leaves me inspired.
Wish my state can implement such measures too.
Same statement I used to think when I travel koraput via sunki ghat about odisha.

every time i travel from wb to oddisa i feel the same thing. their country roads in small towns are in better state than much of kolkata's main roads. yes some places are as is as they were 2 decades ago but a huge lot has improved

Odisha is an example from the poorest state to fastest growing states in India having top 10 in terms of per capita income,we have a transformation journey which is an inspiration for all those poor states like,UP,MP,Bihar Jharkhand they can learn from us.

@@sampathi9515 NH55 Sbp - CTC National Highway comes under the ministry of prime minister. Highway work is going on since last 8 years but it not yet completed. More than 2000 people are died due to the bad condition of the Highway.

Most important rural development and rural economic growth is needed as most of odisha population live in villages. Being from sundergarh we have seen some progress as mp and mla both are from bjp. Most of the western odisha districts have bjp members bringing projects still we are lacking at lot.

No wonder there is lot of water management infrastructure going on in Orissa. As a tourist it doesn't surprise have seen lot of water projects and very huge too. So many rivers there buddy, the only one thing bad I felt was when we ordered a veggie meal, one non veg curry made its way into one of the curry, and there needs to be done enough to make use of temple tourism, lot of potential, so many breathtaking temples yet little is done to reach the potential.

Naveenji is a true leader. And the benefit of having an educated leaders is they do know what to do and what kind of people to use.
If we look at some states and it's leaders today as well as PM, they only talk big things but in reality they haven't done even 1percent of what they say.

The present Karnataka Government should learn from this BJD gov on how to develop the state.
Why didn't our odisha government plan to make large ponds over there and store water and let it trickle to the drought prone areas.

Secondly the area is facing water issue due to heavy rice farming through the year.
So water level is decreasing very fast.
The problem can be solved by introducing new crops who uses less or low water.

I am proud of our Odisha Govt, and proud of the Farmers of Odisha they work so hard and do not get involved in protests etc. like Punjab or any other states. They just do their job. Almost every year we pass through natural disasters but still the people of Odisha and the Govt is so strong to tackle and move forward. Neither our people or Govt complain about center issues. And best part of Odisha, except the CM no other political personality has any power, we have seen in other states even a local corporator is the local rowdy of the area and has about 100s of men... but Odisha is far from all this now. I understand there are less job opportunities in the state for which people travel to other states, but I am sure in coming years things will slowly be better. It will take time as we are slowly getting better day by day.
