    My wife and I drove up to Laguna Beach to buy a 36" Hybrid San 'O. We went around the corner and up in the hills and both rode it. She liked it so much that she wanted it, so the next day I went to SwellTech's website and ordered the 40" Premier Blackout. I like that I can have a wider stance with the Blackout like real world surfing. I have both boards on the back floor in my truck and have ripped around the streets of San Diego to Tucson, Arizona and in between. I love riding these boards, they turn on a dime, pump well and feel surfy!

    I've had mine nearly two years. I'm 85kgs and ride hard and never had problems. Best surfskate for actual surf training you can buy

    Hello I just got a Swelltech Hybrid Camo.. I was watching a lot of videos about surfskate I surf and I needed something that would give me that feeling of surfing. I only have Smoothstar and now there is Swelltech, which for me are the two brands that I would recommend. Congratulations on creating this brand. 🤙🏼

    will you ever release a much wider deck ? In brazil surfskating exploded last year, with a lot of new shapes and now the standard high quality decks are always around 38 to 40x12 inches, so much wider than your regular surfskate and the best ones are extremely light and thin. It makes it much closer to actual surfing. having a narrow board just feels too different, a big 12 inch wide deck feels so much closer to a surfboard foot wise specially during manoeuvers, to the point i cannot go back to anything else

    as a hybrid camo owner for over 6 months I can say that yes!, there is no speed wobble. But imagine hitting a rock that the 70mm wheels do not roll over and then the truck pivots. it is not fun. all that said this is the MOST fun board I have ridden

    How does these boards perform on flat country? You mention the better pumping, does that mean it performs great on the flats generating speed? Thanks!

    • @SurfskateIndustries
      @SurfskateIndustries  2 года назад

      Yes. With efficient pumping form, you never have to push off the ground. Pumping down an entire flat street while mixing in carves is some of the most fun you can have on the board.

      Yeah, I had the JOB Banzai and it was excellent on flat ground.

    Hello, I am a surfer that lives in Atlanta. So not much for waves here, however we have some nice skate park. I have just bought a slide and I like it but... I really want to give this a try for a more wider stance and a real surf feeling...
    The Web site currently (March 3rd) has only 3 models and I have a stance of 23inch? Would the Premier Black out be my best choice for Bowl and skate park riding while keeping the surf moves?. I would LOVE to be able to use it in a bowl .
    Is that a good choice as I am seriously thinking about buying it (versus the smooth star Manta Ray WHICH I almost bought today until I saw this brand!). Thank you very much. Just discovered SwellTech today via RUclips.

      Yes if you have a 23 inch stance than the Premiere will fit you perfectly. However, if you are mostly riding bowls, you might want the more compact Hybrid as it has a snub nose and a little shorter of a deck. It depends what is more important to you - real world stance or bowl riding performance.

    I love it so much, but it has spring problem. If you improve this, more people come to Swelltech again.

      We have all new springs coming out in a few weeks for the 2022 boards. The hooks are independent of the coil and are able to swivel. The hooks are made of laser cut magnesium steel. They are extremely durable. They fit the current SwellTech trucks too.

    swelltech is much harder to move comparing with the original surfskate... I know both have the V track but is very different. I prefere the old surfskate.
