With the lyrics of this song, the whole mecha genre could be described with the lyrics, it's overall awesomeness the past years is now being forgotten, and anime that time especially mecha compared to today actually can represent the lyrics of Okkusenman in terms of anime childhood.
Upon searching the subtitles for this song, I found out that it's actually pretty Feels-heavy. Of course, JAM Project doesn't do subtle, being forged of pure GAR, and powered by Spiral, and that's entirely okay.
5 years late, but JAM Project didn't make this song, it's a cover of a rather famous NicoNico Douga song whose original creator has been long lose to time. I highly recommend checking out the original version which hits even closer to the heart.
