Thanks! I agree with you. Hammock camping has a more freeing feeling and it makes for a better nights sleep. My set up now, aside from winter gear, has gotten super small. Appreciate the comment and all the best
I got my squirrel cooker here: www.heritage-products.com/Products_Forge_PP.html I don't have any affiliation with them, but I like their products and you really can't beat the prices. Hope this helps, ATB
aaahhhh as always with Fireball Malone... a happy ending. Nothing unofficial about how you do things, not at all. That land, those trees, your efforts to make it natural and secluded.... Quite official. Thanks for posting and of course, I will keep watching.
hey man, great video.. the guitar music is pretty amazing and real got to me cause I grew up camping with my best friends my dad and grandfather who I no longer have the privelage to be with today ...they passed on a few years ago a year apart....they both loved a good campfire...keep on doing what your doing bro
Yeah, I really like the signs. I think the second site is about 3/4 of a mile or so from the house. Site 3 will be all the way as far back as I can go, with still being secluded. Thanks!
very cool those are made in another country right? I watched several video review on them and they look great. that's what I'm looking for is a bug screen, most of my hammock camping has been below 40deg. so I didn't need a bug net. thanks again love your videos
Yeah, I got mine straight from DD out of England. The underquilt fits right to it too if you take it out in colder weather. One of the cool features it the bottom piece is actually two layers and the sides have Velcro tabs to slide a sleep pad or additional sleeping bag in between them. I have used a sleep pad and it seemed to work pretty well but upgraded to the underquilt for winter camping. Really appreciate the kind words, be safe and have fun!
Thanks! I got mine on Amazon. Try this www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LQUKZG2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1470188553&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=helinox+chair+one&dpPl=1&dpID=517OL3MS3QL&ref=plSrch Comes with a water bottle now! Appreciate the comment ATB
+Dennis Kuenze I was on the fence for a few weeks because of the price but man it's pretty awesome. I had a tripod chair for a while but you can't sit back, doesn't give the same relax. ATB!
Thanks! Hopefully this helps: www.ddhammocks.com/product/dd-travel-hammock The price has dropped a lot since I got mine and they have made some (unnecessary) seeing improvements.
Out of all the camping gear I have, the hammock is my favorite. It is very comfortable and will last a really long time. I think I've only tent camped 2-3 times in the past couple years of having it. I've tried a couple different hammock setups and this is by far the easiest and in y opinion the best. I have the travel hammock but they have a few. Let me know if you get one! It's exciting! ATB
J Belle It's a Baja Motorsport I got from a tractor supply. They discontinued the black one so it was 1/2 price but they are still pretty inexpensive. I have used this one a lot and I'm not a small guy and it still runs well. Hope this helps! Cheers!
I can honestly say the DD hammock is my very favorite way to camp. I've had mine for a few years and since it's made so well it's still in perfect condition. And I don't always treat it as well as I should. The screen is sewn on to the main piece and nothing gets through it. It has good ventilation and no bugs. I live in Tennessee and out of the many places I've lived, it's my favorite. Thanks for the comment, atb
Dawn Corrigan :) I usually carry a small firearm with me more to scare off any would be predators. I've been lucky and have only had to use it once with a wild dog. It didn't come back after I fired off a shot towards the ground
Dawn Corrigan I have a Honda side by side that can get me back into the woods but my bridges aren't wide enough for it. I built them before getting the Honda. This year I am planning on widening two of them and build a cabin out there.
Great done
Cheers!
I like the hammock set up better than the one person tent you had before
Thanks! I agree with you. Hammock camping has a more freeing feeling and it makes for a better nights sleep. My set up now, aside from winter gear, has gotten super small. Appreciate the comment and all the best

It's nice how all that stuff fits a backpack.
It's nice to be able to carry it on my back since the bike is kinda small. Looking for some side boxes for it
Campsite 2 looks great buddy! 😉
+fireballmalone1 that would be cool!!!! I look forwards to seeing it 😉👍🏻👊🏻

That came our really nice. I like the campsite signs. Hard to believe your only a short distance from your house.

Thanks for the reply. Wow that chair is kind of pricey. But I guess you get what you pay for. Have to save my pennies...lol Enjoy!

How fast can that bike get up to?
Jared Avery I think it tops out around 20 mph, I'm 6'2 230 and it moves pretty good. It's definitely not built for long rides but is a lot of fun
Great video as always! I was looking for your hammock in Amazon but I couldn't find it, is it possible that you provide me the link? Thank you.
Thanks! Hopefully this helps: www.ddhammocks.com/product/dd-travel-hammock
