I've been watching this channel for over a week now and I can't forget about the fact that this how many young Japanese riders back in 80s and 90s used to hit the touge like this and the most of the motorcycles had two strokes motors so it was pure glory and now I'm happy that still in this era badass people like these are still keeping the passion alive, it must feel good whilst cornering with 100 percent accuracy and the control of your bike in these tough corners and no matter what kind of bike everyone rides they always seems to be having fun unless they're crashing even crashing your motorcycle in these corners isn't really a big deal if you really love riding like somehow if you'd crash many fellow riders would come to help you and then guide you on how to improve your cornering, body positioning etc, so you'll get to learn about some new stuff and that's what makes me happy and I hope one day I'll get a bike and hit some mountain roads with my friends like these guys do.
Has anyone else ever wondered why they don't close off the Snake and run actual timed races every once in a while (ala Pikes Peak). Would probably generate significant profit for somebody.
You know, I really enjoy your videos, but I'm curious. Do you have a team of people who capture various locations, or do you do all of this yourself? I can tell from the shadows that you're filming at different times during the day, and I'm guessing that a lot of these riders spend most of the day on The Snake. Could you detail, or better yet, do a video, on HOW you get your video shots?
Gary C he himself moves to different spots on the road and takes video at intervals that change throughout the day. He'll even do drone video up there. If you have never been there you wouldn't know this but usually when he's there video taping the riders he has a sign placed on the ground letting people know they're being filmed. Which usually makes the riders go a little harder. He also has his website listed on the sign so you can go on his sure and find your picture from the day and he will print high quality version of it and sell it to you if you want because the web version are low quality. He's made a very good business out of this and it's awesome what he has done. But as far as I know, from the times I've been there he works alone, although there's other people who try to copy his work and go out and do the same thing. But here's the main man in the hilltop
i hear that the county is working on a 'marked' drone project to patrol this area....tickets being sent ,with a picture, to registered owners... imho, could be easily defeated in a court...but the catch is ..you do have to appear. No show and you get the infamous bench warrant ..
