Ran is good. The problem I see is mostly on offense. We are seeing a rookie head coach. The skill sets of our players aren't suited collectively for the plays. Callahan will learn this year how to adjust the style of plays to his players on the field. Levis might still be the guy, but until the plays are fine tuned for him, we might have to find a different qb next year. Callahan can pick his qb.

I would have gambled a better value trade was still there for D Hop a week from now or more close to the deadline. I also don't see how the logic can be used that Ran is doing a good job when the book is out on most of the decisions he's made. We have wildly underperformed in both of his seasons and his first full offseason making decisions without the shadow of Vrabel could be easily be argued as a regression in major areas. I don't think he's necessarily bad, but I don't want to hear any words about Ran Carthon is doing a good job yet either when hes 7-16 as a general manager to start his career. My thought is there was probably offers out there but this was worked out with KC a couple weeks ago when they were linked to d-hop. If there wasn’t a 4th on the table now I’m sure there would be closer to the deadline especially with so many WR going down the last couple weeks on competitive teams. The negative to the signings is how the biggest cap hits will be down the road. Quite possibly after the players are gone. For example, Derrick Henry.
