      hats off ! we all appreciate the hard work you put in that lock

      Thanks bud. This lock was really quite good. Is there someone in particular I should send this to next, or should I just add it to one of my packages going out to other pickers? As for Medecos, I'm just OK with them. I eventually get them open, but I'm not nearly as controlled as I would like. Why?

    that groove in chmber 6 on the core would be from the driver dragging on the core while turning from being too long and too much spring pressure possibly. not thinking it was done deliberatly

    I couldn't believe how much rotation on the core there was before it unlocked. I was very impressed by this lock!

    Awesome job again LPL, you picked that lock under 3:30 minutes. Those custom driver pins would have driven me crazy.

      Thanks. Challenge locks may not be as hard as you think. Just feel for feedback and act accordingly. It may take a while, but eventually they open.

    Those driver pins took a lot of work to create, great video.

    Nice picking LPLAWYER! That seems like a great challenge. Those pins are beautiful. I have never had a chance to pick a lock with pins like that but I think it would be a great challenge to me too. Keep on picking!

    Wow! how does the tension differ from a regular lock? What does it feels like picking thru each type of pins?

    Nicely picked! Supallama put in some really nice pins on that one! Do you have a po box? I would love to send you a challenge lock or two some time.

    Wow, superllama pulled out the stops with that lock. Those free floating rings on the pins would seem to make it much harder to pick. Didn't seem to slow you up much. Nice lock and nice work picking it!

    • @lockpickinglawyer

      This was definitely a really nice one... and it definitely slowed me down... just didn't stop me. :-D

  • @tumbl3r
    @tumbl3r 7 лет назад +3

    Nice picking LPL! That Llama makes some mean pins... He sent me a challenge Medeco of all things that was filled with those floating wafer pin-in-pin gremlins. Had to pick out of the deepest false set I've ever seen :-/

    • @lockpickinglawyer
      @lockpickinglawyer  7 лет назад +1

      Yikes! Now I know why he was asking how comfortable I was with Medeco's. LOL. Answer: Not very (not nearly as much as you).

      I'm waiting on instructions from SL. If none, it's yours.

    Intricate pins and sleeves opened in 2½ minutes with a standard hook.

    • @lockpickinglawyer
      @lockpickinglawyer  7 лет назад

      3 1/2... It's hard to compare locks since my still level is constantly changing (hopefully, improving), but this was definitely one of the harder ones I've come across.

      LockPickingLawyer I started the clock at 0:50 when pick entered keyway. Fast either way.

    I guess you are all saying that SL made those pins himself? I may be able to pick eventually but I'm no metal machinist ... I had hoped to find out where those pins came from and to get some.

  • @tonyholt90

    i think it was designed to keep you out ;)
    Well done not to much of a challenge for you ...

    • @lockpickinglawyer
      @lockpickinglawyer  7 лет назад

      Thanks... unless the warding/bitting combination is silly (which is a weak way to build a CL IMO) I'll get them all eventually... "eventually" being the key word. Though I have one lock (from Tahoepicked) which I have never opened. I have not lost hope.

    Can you pick an Emhart high security that has the angle cut key?

    • @lockpickinglawyer
      @lockpickinglawyer  5 лет назад

      Yes and no... getting it open isn’t hard. Not destroying the lock in the process is.

    Wow! That is an impressive challenge lock, but you just marched right through it like The Terminator!
