You know the saying, "Black don't crack"!

How cool the bakery story was 😎
Alem Almaz in
I loved the bakery story....I Myself was born in 1968 ...
@volcano hi If I understood him correctly, he said "when the riots came..". So I take it there were riots and people were burning buildings along the way.
Cryptidian yup riots were happening idk why exactly. But it’s good they got to save there Buisness
This a Netflix movie material
Hearing the story of the Jewish lady who owned the bakery... brings a tear to my eye. God bless the men who looked after her and others during such unrest!
That’s the way the world should be...!!!
She helped the people in the neighborhood and they helped her in return. If you do good you'll get good in return.
That's right!
@@rustyshackleford1718 was a damn shame it happened that way, no doubt about it. im just glad that some men still had their heads on straight even though most of that neighborhood didnt during that time. no question that all of the businesses and homes should have been protected
One of my ancestors lived in Zanzibar during the uprising. Because he had donated the use of his building to the new government, they smuggled his kids off the island and didn't let his store or any of his possessions get looted or burned
Going back down memory lane is always good. Some goooood times back in the day before things changed. I know everyone can relate.
Sherylynne L. Rochester everyone but the iPad generation
dark knight i was born in 98 and honestly im sad about it i wanna live in a world tech free
Good that he remembers where he came from. Da hood.
Not everyone how about infant that die
Always important to remember history. So we can defend ourselves from certain fascists.....
I love how Steve doesn't forget who he is and where he comes from. In our culture we believe that being humble attracts good things for you.
God continue to bless you Steve
Love you loads ❤️❤️❤️ you are inspiration to most
volcano hi they may or may not. I love how consistent he is about it
Amen amen amen 🙏🙏🙏

Youll never hear white people talk like this, rimanicing on things it’s beautiful
Uinsean Obriain I hear them a lot
I like how she told him she lived down the way from him but really didn't intend to capitalize on the situation. She kept trying to get back to playing the game but he was the one who took them home through memories. ❤
What was there to capitalize on? Memories are memories. Let people enjoy themselves damn
@@FLaSHFReeeZ, first of all stop taking instant offense to comments that you haven't gotten clarity from. Seek the understanding first then go deeper. When I said "capitalize" I meant that she didn't go through lengths to try to familiarize Steve (through memory) with her, or her neighbor. She simply stated that she grew up on his block and left it at that. She didn't come with the "Remember me Steve"... angle. She didn't even assume they knew each other. Her focus was not on associating herself with Steve in any way. Her focus was on the game. He brought out the wonderful memories from their neighborhood. And for your information I can't stop anyone's enjoyment because one, I don't know them. Two, I wasn't there, and three, this has already happened. As far as know, time machines aren't sold at Wal-Mart or Target, so really, what we you talking about here, again?
@Mojo Tech Bwahahahahahaha 😂😂😂
@Mojo Tech Dang. Kmart didn't use their own product!

Yes they did! ... ‘cept they went backwards ... 🙁
The girl holding the mic is a beauty

Steve aint never forget where he came from and all his friends thats beautiful💜
I wish I grew up on a hood like that with such deep memories👍
I love that how people stand in front of a bakery and said you will not burn it down. For some reason you knew it was something good about it. I love this story
Wow, low standards. Almost as if you are ok with the fact that so many other innocent people had their buildings burned down, but no "she gives us food so not gonna destroy her life cuz we needs dat food"
I love how Steve treats them all like old friends with no chip on his shoulder.
Love the guy
I just visualized the whole men standing in-front the bakery situation and teared up a lil.

We don't type how we speak.
@@OriginalPuro Lmao you must be new to the internet
@@OriginalPuro buh-bye
😂😂 Yup, i did too
Puro yea we do
Steve is so rooted and grounded by his past every time it comes up he goes right back to those moments.
Steve Harvey is not only a funny man, but also a humble one. How classy of him to take the time for a short trip down memory lane with those ladies. Shows what kinda guy he is.
I arrested one of the Valentine boys at least 5 times when I was a police officer. He was always into something.
@chumbuckery777 I think that the Valentine boy's name was Ronnie, it's been so long ago. Proud as hell of Steve and what he has achieved. We grew up in the same county in southern West Virginia. I, like Steve, am a child of the late 60's and 70's, we had no problem with color, we were just people living life. I miss those days.
She looks great for almost 70😆
Black don't crack
Flora looks like an older Mo’Nique.
Omg she does😂😂
Lady M I thought the exact same thing 😭
Hahaha yes
Lolz... My thought exactly
You know Steve Harvey is the type of guy you want at a Saturday afternoon BBQ party. Type of guy you want to be friends with
One thing I love about steve, no matter how much money and fame he's got, he has never forgot where he came from. A real one.
This was so wonderful. It's something special about running into people from your past. Especially as we age.
That's real loyalty from the local people protecting the old ladies bakery. I've seen things like this before and it doesn't just come from the old lady but the education of the family even if they have nothing doesn't mean they don't have moral to pass on to their kids.
From A Black African Muslim God Bless The Good Old Bakery Jewish Lady & The Brothers Who Protected Her Store 🙏
I love "memory lane" stories! I enjoy them so much, no matter who tells what about the 'back in the days' !
Love it! ❤❤❤
😂😂😂feels good when u meet ur own hood
Nothing like seeing old friends from around the way!❤️
She has had a good life: looking so great at 70
Once upon a time: when everybody know everybody...
" Jimmy's your brother ... Crazy a** Jimmy"
You can really tell the people who grew up around Steve, or knew him from the past still go around and support him heavily. They don't try and make a scene, they don't bug him about his fame, they show up and support him like a family member would. I love it.
They're having a moment, and I'm the one who gets emotional 😅
Now i know mr. Steve you don’t like surprises but all of them are awesome.👏👏👏👏✊🏿
He gets so happy whenever he’s childhood friends or neighbor gets bring up because I can see how much he loved he’s town and he’s people. He remembers every moment even if it was hard time or a good time just appreciating the fact that he made it and other neighbors have made it.
It’s nothing like your old neighborhood. You can ALWAYS go back. Even if it’s just in your mind and reminisce.
How beautiful it is for Steve to openly embrace and reminisce about where he came from…
such a beautiful thing to see 2 friends that literally grwa up together in the same street still be friends in their 60s almost 70s. also to think that Steve was there aswel now they are all reconnecting! life is beautiful!
Steve remembers everyone from his block. God bless him he lights up when he talk about his child hood
Don't you love it when people just talk like folks? ❤
Nothing as blessed as great memories 🥰🥰🥰
It goes to show compassion twords others in need is so much more powerful than fame or money...🙏🙏🙏
steve is just so down to Earth! funny as hell! yet so wise! he feels like family!
This dude is the real deal! Thanks for keeping it real, when most celebrities are lost in their own world. Respect!
Its like they forgot they on set lmao just having a friendly conversation
Awwwwww they went waaay back thats cute talkin bout Ohio life. This was a cute moment a blessing aww.😁
The lady holding the mic so freakin gorgeous. Must be Vanna Black 🔥
Lionel Kennedy Yes I agree!! Beautiful!!!
This is why i love this man and all the work he does.
i cant lie i am looking at someone else the whole time . she is a beauty
I love to hear Steve talk about his childhood
Being from Cleveland and knowing the area, it is ROUGH. Glad Steve made it out. He's a good dude and genuine.
Awee!! This was so cute, going down memory lane feels oh so good!👌🤗
them finishing each other sentences tells you how impactful those memories are..
Awww!!!! Thats so sweet. Hopefully they stayed in contact
I watched this a few years ago and searched it up to watch it again. Love the bakery story ✌🏽
Man I love these reunions!!! Makes them so real as a person
I love hearing the older generation talking about where everyone lives at in the neighborhood and naming all the names of families that lived in the neighborhood back in the day...when I’m listening to Steve and these sweet ladies I think about my family
Yeah that whole neighborhood burned to the ground
Reminds me of my family's, family home, where everybody knows each other.
“Never forget the past”
you keeping me alive steve i suffer from depression ptsd mental health i watch all your programes i live in dublin ireland i would love to be on your show and meet you in person
I really love this. You shouldn't never forget where you come from. In the hood where it's good. Steve Harvey my boy.❤️❤️
Old school values. Love it. Respect
Never forget where you come from💯
To get so far in life and then reconnect with old neighbors is so beautiful you know
Love Harvey for Real
I just became a huge Steve Harvey fan.
It always good to remember the old beautiful days with other people
What beautiful memories of younger years!!!
It's amusing how he clearly just did some fun minigame and then all of a sudden he gets MULTIPLE blasts from the past. The amount of "OH MY GOD MY CHILDHOOD CATCHING UP TO ME" wholesomeness is so much.
She looks great to be turning 70 & that was a really cool story sharing those memories. 😎❤
To be able to see neighbors from where Steve grew up..Wow !! It sure made him happy. We love you. Steve. ❤❤❤
It's always so enjoyable listening to stories like this
It's amazing how streets build stories.
OOH!! Lady holdin the MiC is mighty FINE!!

She looks amazing. Beautiful lady.
This is so damn wholesome, I can’t take it
Love Steve's reactions...
One of the best thing I like about you Steve is you haven’t try to make yourself on top or try to miss recognize people. when you meet them again, specially people you have live the poverty or misery of a poor life as I had but you try to comfort them and specially to understand them and talk to them friendly and respectfully. What other celebrities don’t even wanna to understand or either meet them in their today’s lives😳
Such a wholesome, at-home moment.
Steve the man,I love this man.
That's so cool! And that lady 70.. wow she looks amazing.
