    I love that you are continuing the "real audio" series. It doesn't seem forced like some of the scripted language tutorial videos and is definitely more entertaining- hope you continue making more!

    Thank you Laura. I have some time follow you and learning from your videos, I love your charisma and sense of humor you transmit in them. And I loved "we're in London, so when we saw the price and the bill... London Is expensive"... If for you it's expensive...imagine for others as me as a mexican staying there for few months...It was so expensive some times 😂... But really nice; lovely ☺️. I hope to go back some time, and apply all things that I've learned from you and your videos, above all: the accents, too difficult for me, they are hard to understand some times. Thank you so much Laura! 🙂

    This was very helpful for me and I also am loving that you used the recording from an actual place like you did for the coffee shop. The acting and miming were also top notch. If you ever do this again, one day you should switch roles with Bez where you perform using his audio and vice versa 😄

    In a really fine restaurant, you start with a glass of champagne, then the waiter brings you the amuse geuele, you choose the menu, then whether you take the corresponding wines or choose a bottle for yourself and off you go. And after a few hours, your credit card is charged with a four-digit amount. Tip in cash because of the tax.

    What an amazing video! Thank you, Laura. Could you make a video about how to complain politely at the restaurant? You know, sometimes the dish is not correct, the meat is a little bit raw, or maybe asking if the dish has been ordered when waiting a long time.

    Excuse me Laura ! at the third restaurant, you said "hiya" ! is it a popular way to say "hello" ? what do it mean exactly ? is that a contracted expression ? somebody said that to me one day and i didn't understand at the moment ;)...a bit confusing

    • @smashingenglish
      @smashingenglish  Месяц назад +1

      Hello! So ‘hiya’ is just an informal way of saying ‘hello’, it’s just a friendly greeting!

    At the beginning when the waiter asks "What can I get you guys to drink?", I wonder if we could use this sentence with any people we talk to, even someone much older than us. It's because the expression "you guys" sounds very informal to me.
