South of Hell's Mena Suvari

After having starred in a string of hit feature films, including American Beauty and American Pie, actress Mena Suvari is headlining the eight-hour series South of Hell. The supernatural thriller sees Suvari taking on the role of a reluctant exorcist-for-hire in Charleston, South Carolina. Her character also has her own demon living inside of her, feeding on the evil she exorcises from others. The series marks the second original scripted show for WE tv.
South of Hell is produced by Sonar Entertainment and Blumhouse Television, and is distributed by Sonar. The premiere episode is directed by horror guru Eli Roth (Hostel, Hemlock Grove). James Manos Jr. (Dexter, The Sopranos) is executive producer and showrunner. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Sinister) is also among the executive producers.
In this video interview, Suvari talks to TV Drama Weekly about the character she portrays in South of Hell and shares her experience of getting to act opposite herself as her own demon.
