"The Gentle Good is also known as Cardiff born Gareth Bonello, a Welsh folk singer and songwriter. His honest and tender vocals are well matched to an intricate guitar style that owes much to the great guitarists of the 60s folk revival. A dedicated multi-instrumentalist his recordings are layered with subtle string arrangements as well as banjos, mandolins and glockenspiels. A captivating live performer, The Gentle Good can enchant an audience with just a guitar, weaving dark stories amongst tragic folk songs as he performs."

Here is a full translation of the lyrics:
The End of the World
I heard the moon stirs the seas
With ease her cold hand turns the tides
As long there are broken shells
As long as there is sand,
Lying on silent seabeds
The moon takes it all to the end of the world
See the ships slipping out to sea
Bound to the spell of stars and lure of tides
As long as there's a horizon,
As long as there's seawater
Filling every teardrop
The moon will tear true lovers far apart
Woe to all that are fool enough to trust
Woe to the stars and every single promise
Woe to the sea from the waves to the bottom
Leave it all and let the seagulls cry for it
If your lover returns from salty depths
Crowned with cold knots of seaweed and golden sand
Turn your back and let the moon
Raise the mighty sea,
Raise the entire sea
And drag it all away to the end of the world
Woe to all that are fool enough to trust
Woe to the stars and every single promise
Woe to the sea from the waves to the bottom
Leave it all and let the seagulls cry for it

My grampa grew up in Wales. He and Gramma had 14 children after meeting and marrying in U.S. I never knew him, being the 3rd youngest of his grandchildren. I know I have relatives in Wales, but don't know how to reach them. Every time I hear someone speaking Welch I feel granpa. My mom told me stories about him and I am his youngest granddaughter. My boys r musicians and r looking at thier heritage in music. I know it's amazing, just need to help them find it. Enjoying this music. Thank u.
I am first guy to give a comment Gareth Evans it was really awosome
Glad you like it! The Gentle Good is a Welsh legend, so we were honoured to have him perform for us!

Luckily I'm Welsh so I could understand it ahaha. Beautiful melodies ;)
I understand very little of it but I still love it . Always worth going to one of Gareth's gigs because he explains a little about each song so they are accessible to all .

diolch yn fawr
As the first one to comment, I'd like to say well done. It's not every day you hear mystical love cave Welsh spa music. I looked it up on Pandora and it's not even a genre. Dumb.
