A lot of strange choices were made here. They started off calling each other by their show names, as if they were the characters, but then it immediately stops and Jamie is recognized as Jamie?
It's recasting for the show, but it's just a ton of famous tiktokers and youtubers that no one asked for- likely just to bring in a younger audience that disregards most, if not all, the people who even cared for a real, adult reboot.
The green screens were so wonky. Ive seen other RUclipsrs who do a better job using green screens and editing to make it at least look a bit more seamless.
To be honest, why? Why not have a simple cast reunion where they play the characters? Have a separate video if they REALLY are going to recast, or pretend to recast, or whatever this was. I know some of the cast has fallen out, but there are still (obviously) a large enough group of the *important* main cast that could have a storyline. Even just a skit, it doesn't even have to have a large budget. Take the time to arrange a real meeting together, so that people aren't just "busy". This was so horribly cheesy, I immediately knew the end scene would be everyone dancing together- honestly, who gives a shit? Its done in so many music videos and was a bit of an uncreative ending. It was such a letdown for everything it could've been.
It's because this is just a cash grab for Jamie Lynn. She literally doesn't care about the fans this is only happening because pretty soon she won't have access to her famous big sister's money, whom she's been leeching off of for years #freebritney #domesticabuse

I completely agree with everything you said! I mean, I didn’t care so much about the lyrical changes, and the re-recorded version of the song, but just, why put these people that had nothing to do with the show just to promote to this new generation? People that grew up with this, would like a simple sketch, or even a simple video that contain the actors (not necessarily all of them, because it’s really hard to get the whole cast) just talking about the show and everything (just like they did in a live some months ago). These producers ruined since they tried to push to this new generation, while we just wanted a nostalgic and good moment, that could really resemble the show.
