Idk I checked this site myself and it seems they are 'estimating' Android revenue, the moment you take out this estimate you see games like Genshin Impact CN revenue drop down dramatically in half, Honkai Star rail down by 66%
So the boycott ain't nothing after all there's still hope for those people.
How about other games then? How much did they drop?
@@BeastWitMinors There is no boycott, they already explained that the drop was from bot of a rival company, they started slowly following Genshin account and drop all the follows right after big event to create fake drama.
Its been explained in CN, the drama does not exist.

It’s interesting BA’s CN revenue isn’t as HUGE as I thought.
Yostar is putting out lots of high quality PV’s that often times are fully animated and vary in the animation style they go for some of these PV’s compared to BA’s main JP servers…
But the thing to note for CN’s server is that they had to cut down several events, especially in regards to the Bunny Asuna/Karin/Neru banners, so yeah the censorship is REAL…
Realistically less than 1% of Genshin's players will have anything to do with this so-called boycott so it's not really gonna do anything to affect its insane numbers

At some point you guys are just gonna have to accept that Genshin is a good game in most of the world’s eyes… most people don’t care for “improvements”, most people don’t believe it will die, most people are happy with the game… you come online and see a video and all you hear is crying about Genshin, then you look at the numbers and it’s towering over the competition
This site "estimates" CN Android sales numbers since there is no actual source for that. They also do not tell exactly how exactly they come to these estimated conclusions. Take out that Android estimate (that has no actual source to back it up) and Hoyoverse games drop by more than 50%

I would go as far as saying it makes so much money due to sunk cost fallacy from day one players from games hype days, but dunno, not a druid to see the truth, neither will I ever understand how people spend money on a gacha game with literally no endgame...
@@naganwhat8364 I hate breaking the news to you but, only 10-15% of players actually cleared Abyss. Same goes for MoC in HSR. So the question is, what's the benefit of adding more endgame if the players won't complete it anyway?

@@pillowhead4456 warped logic, people don't clear abyss because it's boring as, simply. Dps check without anything else is not a gameplay, entertaining combat could be but there isn't one. Not because they don't care about it (but apathy because of it could lead to people simply not caring about it)
I legit went to try the game when it launched because I was promised good endgame by a certain youtuber... Disappointment was immeasurable

Genshin, Honkai, Arknights, Reverse, Dislyte are all developed by Chinese companies (Mihoyo, Hypergryph, Bluepoch, Lilith)
Look like most players spend entire leisure time playing hoyoverse's games so not many try out other good ones, their revenue truly dominate the list
is not? like i play every new gacha game and spend for 1st purchase monthly or even BP, but im sure spend in hoyo are the most worth it for me because they character has more value than other gacha, it is predatory but in the end is not because players dont try others game but hoyo did great marketing

Maybe most of those who cried on the 3 pulls and boycotted genshin aren't even contributing much to genshin in the frist place. On the contrary those huge chunk of players that are able to spend don't even give a damn with the 3 pulls situation. I'm the latter. Yeah the 3 pulls did bother me, for like 2 days? But when the 2 new skins drop I bought both right away.
The fact is, those who quit just because they don't get freebies won't even spend much or stay in any game for long anyways, why should they listen to you?
