Havent heard this for around 30yrs but still remember it well and believe I must even have the vinyl somewhere, probably mint cond. Still sounds good like a lot of underground music this era. A lot of Yamaha DX7 going on there if I'm not mistaken and a few samples from Double Def Fresh.
I used to have this on a hip hop tape my cousin recorded for me back in the day but i had no idea waht it was called or who by. It is awesome to hear it again and i still love the old school
Bought this vinyl on the eighties due to me buying every 12 inch record that got into the Echoes Magazine Top Ten Soul Charts. This song is almost it's own genre. The constant two sound keyboard on top puts off other listeners though.
IMPRESIONANTE trabajo, Todo un TEMAZO, es una verdadera JOYA del HIP HOP, GRACIAS por compartir y un CORDIAL SALUDO a todos los AMANTES de la BUENA MÚSICA.
@fardapmicmc No mate Dunstall Suite Wolves was as far as I could go in my mid teens in the 80s This track and Masquerade's "set it off " seem to be the only tunes I can remember from these nights!!!!!
Damn, been looking for this for years
Still gives me goose bumps, best through head phones up loud.
Classic tune. Remember mike allen (rip) playing this on his 95.8 fm capital rap show back in 1985. A blueprint for early pioneering house music 👏
LWR or Sunrise Radio, the ravers could hear it comin already! Give it a few years & it was goin off. Brilliant time for music, that era! Xx
This and many others like set it off, twilight, chief inspector were great instrumental dancing tunes...Electric Ballroom Friday nights..
takes me back to radion london/glr . dave pearce funk fantasy on thursday nights!!!
Proper underground tune of the day, still love it, my bro still has it on 12"......
