Francis deserves an award-Most improved non native English speaker in the UFC
not really... english was actually pretty well known in any Africa Continent, he might lack of many english word but most people in africa already knew basic english .. if you want to see a fighter that had zero knowledge about english and learn it very fast, take a look someone from dagestan
@@isDatBoi Africa is a continent with over 54 countries , they all speak different languages depending on the coloniser in this case Ngannou was born in Cameroon where they primarily speak French so definitely deserves a thumbs for learning a new language so quickly

@@cropotop I think you'll be shocked. Francis is a newcomer, and had nothing but brawling skills when he fought Stipe the first time round. This time, he's prepared, and I assume a whole lot fitter. If anyone's going to knock Stipe off the top its definitely Francis.

I was worried his camp would slack on his grappling defense again, but with Usman there I'm a lot more confident.
Usman is a really good friend. You need that kind of friend on your team, in your gym, and in your corner on fight night and Francis has got that this time. Francis has a great team (Dewey, Eric, Kamaru, Marquell) and it’s Francis and team staying focused on the right things because it’s victory this time!

@Poo Head yeah Francis for sure learned a lot from that fight cuz he’s never fought anyone as good as stipe I think he was rushed into that fight too quickly but hopefully he’s sharpened up his punches and so he doesn’t throw so wide and telegraph everything cuz stipe made him miss a lot and he gassed out, stipe also took him down like he was nothing but now he’s got kamaru usman in his corner so I think he is gonna be a much bigger threat to stipe than what stipe has had in a whileee

@Damion C Experience is a solid thing to have, but certainly not everything. What you wrote here is an extreme ideology that is not smart to believe in. Some people work incredibly hard for 40 years but don't move anywhere from where they are at until they meet a person who puts the last puzzle piece to turn their life around, it's a tiny bit, but that's all it takes same in the cage, hope that Kamaru will be that puzzle piece to give Ngannou a tiny bit of improvement, and that's a process.
@Damion C agree, but I am talking about a tiny bit and a puzzle piece which could help overall, not to become khabib, but a strategic plan to beat stipe, he is already well built, and certainly can sharpen skills, you got fair points. The changes happens to most fighters when they change their teams, but its a different change and differe topic. Obviously stipe is sharpening his skills too, thats where we get the competition :)

Stipe's entire gameplan:
Get Ngannou tired and gassed out.
I think Francis takes it this time.
Stipe has been staying leaner and lighter weight if you look at his pictures on Instagram recently. Stipe knows he has to stay out of range on the outside constantly moving the whole time or jammed up in the clinch or against the cage plus looking for takedowns so he doesn’t get knocked out. Still, I think Francis will knock him out anyway but you can see what Stipe is trying to do as far as being light on his feet so he can try to run all night from those big KO punches Francis throws.
@@cgiles9086 Well, we've seen Francis train a lot of leg kicks. And his kicks are potentially as devastating as his punches (power comes from the hips).
And we know Stipe doesn't really check leg kicks. So it actually favors Ngannou to stay at range and leg kick Stipe and jab him in the face.
Leg kicks, jabs to the body, dont letting stipe clinch to gain energy and good TD is nnanganou fight and waiting for the power punches

My advice: 75% cardio training, 20% wrestling, 10% striking. Stipe has better cardio and if he makes it through round 3 it is pretty much game over.

This is the first time i dont have a favourite. Both are monsters inside the cage but outside the cage they are so gentle with others.

Hopefully for this fight they focused on wrestling mainly and boxing and how to check calf kicks or avoid them. I like stipe and all but id really like to see Francis get a belt and I feel like he can win its a 50-50 In my opinion.
