The choreo of Singularity by V got a Soompi Award for BEST CHOREO OF THE YEAR IN 2018. Taehyung (V) is called idol of idols for many reasons! I'm always so proud of him. 💜🥰👏
The way you describe the sound how he is stopping himself. That exactly what the song is about. About loving someone and losing yourself in the process. So there is a sense of giving with reservation
Singularity is amazing! Stigma we saw a high range of V. But singularity is one of those songs that just emphasize the low end and it’s velvet to my ears!
All Tae's songs are really good. "Stigma" and "Scenery" are amazing, but his more recent ones like "Winter Bear", "Sweet Night" and "Inner Child" are beautiful.
In my opinion Tae has the best vocal range and he also has an excellent technique. When you hear Singularity and then something like Stigma both RnB/Jazz you get both ends of the scale. There really isn't anyone like him out there.
Of all the vocal coach reaction vids out there, you are the only one who thoroughly explains the vocal techniques of each artist you react to use. Kudos to you! I'm tired of hearing the words "falsetto" , "breathy", and "airy" all the time without explaining to the viewers how he's able to create his unique "buttery" sound as you described it. Kinda makes it feel like he's not using much technique when he's singing, which I know isn't the case.

Taehyung's voice was the first one I could pick out without fail. I love his jazzy vibes as showcased in Le Jazz du V. And Singularity makes me weak in the knees.
I could watch V's facial expressions all day long.
The performance of this song gives me butterflies and makes me blush, Tae is killling me 🦋 also whenever he smirks you won’t be able to hear anything because it sends everyone crazy 😂
V's voice is so unique.. I never heard of a voice like that
The pillow talk thing is amusing as in the next set of concerts when he sings this song, instead of starting off with the mannequin, he’s on a bed XD

I found it interesting that you mentioned his voice sounding like he was holding back because the lyrics are beautiful poetry that show an internal struggle as one loses one's self for someone or something else and questions if the cost was worth it:
