I love Vivian!!! She can really bring the history if food go life.
Chicken salad is comforting to me, too. Reminds me of my aunt who is now deceased. So amazing how a flavor profile can be so nostalgic.

@@dragonsky799 We are "Yankees" from Buffalo NY. Every May we go down to NC and one of the reasons we go is to eat at the Chef and Farmer. My wife ran into Vivian outback when having a cig. Love her food and the joy she brings. Looking forward to attending May 2019. Also enjoy the Oysters at her Boiler Room across the street.
Host is not likable? The entire show is built around her likability and the ease with which she draws in her guests and audience. The farmers like her, the locals like her and she has never forgotten who she is and where she came from.
Shut up, dingbat. Vivian Howard is the greatest. 😡😡😡
