When the egg whites starts to bubble, add the sugar in 3 batches at 20 seconds interval. 8. When meringue is at soft peak, fold in the meringue in 3 batches on to the butter-milk-egg yolk mixture. The browned top is so hard to achieve it will take you HOURS (to me 2hrs almost 3hrs) on low heat. But you can cook it without having the browned top and stil tastes good. It justs that it adds texture and more egg-y flavor to the cake. You should try it!

Just made this cake and it’s a success! Taste so good & spongy texture. Instruction is simple to follow. Just need to be patience to wait for the cake to be done to perfection. Although I have baked much longer than the timing given as its seems uncooked in the middle. Will turn up the degree on the oven the next time I try.

6. After mixing the eggs, add salt, honey, and vanilla extract, mix and let stand for a while.
7. Preheat the oven.

8. Divide sugar into the whites three times to make soft, dense meringue.

I made this today! Thank you for the recipes. But while I doing this my batter separated and its not smooth like in the video. Do you perhaps know what's wrong and what should I improve?
