just got my wm125 from Amazon tonight. Of course, I had put it together right away. The only problem I had was getting the holes for the drift pins lined up so I could hammer them in place. I would suggest slipping a brad or a thin nail through the pin and the holes to keep things lined up. It worked for me.

Crucial tip. Assembling mine now, Thx!

The drift pins are terrible. They go through the holes of the handle just fine, obviously, but not the holes of the vice screw at all.
I'll try your tip. Not sure if mine are a slight defect or what.

@@tomw.4255I had the same problem. Scratched up my Workmate real good while hammering in the pins but at least I pushed them through

A few too many warnings about crushing your hands. Other than that, good video. Thank you. Menards has them on sale for $9.99. Will be picking some up tomorrow. I've been needing some good horses for awhile and this looks like it will work well.

Oh man, I wish I saw this video when it was published a year ago! You have no idea how hard it is to type this out when your nose itches with one remaining finger!
It’s so incredibly frustrating and I hate B&D for not giving the same warnings. At least it’s my middle finger that remains . I get the satisfaction of waving at B&D employees and they just wave back with no idea

Your video was great and answered a lot of questions. I was hoping to see how sturdy it was and did it wiggle around while in use. Please comment if you can.

Excellent video! Thank you for doing it. Your video is so much easier to follow and it makes so much more sense than the written instructions included with the workbench.

i got a stack of books. this workmate 125, and a circular saw. my goal is to cut the spins off of each of the books so i can turn them into digital files. my question is: what clamping and cutting method with circular saw be the best? using the swivel pegs to hold the book, cult halfway into the books spine, then flip the book and cut the other half of the book spine?

Having the same issue as some others I removed the pins that would not go in all the way. I ended up using a screw and a bolt. I didn't like the wobble handles, to solve that I wrapped some electrical tape around the end of the screws before reinstalling the handles.

    I have a 19001 type 2.
It doesn't open or fold down like this and it has a 350 pound rating...I use it to climb up to high shelves in my garage.

My swivel pegs are too big and will not fit in the holes. Anyone else have the same problem? Is it the summer heat?

I wish I’d found your videos before assembling, it took me two hours and a lot of swearing, the instructions are the worst I’ve seen to date! Anyways it looks like it should be quite a good bench especially for the price!
