I'm questioning telling Christian that their future sins are forgiven... half will take that as they don't need to go to God in remorseful repentance...
Paul addresses this in Romans 6. Because of God's grace, we don't have to worry about incurring God's punishment because we don't measure up (aka following the law). We've been reconciled to Him. But it doesn't mean to deliberately sin knowing you can just ask for forgiveness (though you can). Jesus said that if you love Him then you will follow His commands- love God and love others. If one truly loves God and understands his Love , then a Christian wouldn't want to sin. Will they? Yes. We are still human. But knowing there is grace and mercy and the ability to go to God time and time again because of Jesus brings freedom.

I understand your point. But God has given us free will to choose our way. I would argue that we should always preach truth.
