I'm so, so glad for this video. Especially for the UPC information that you can apply for an exemption. Don't know how, but now I know it's doable. Until now I wasn't considering FBA as a sales channel because of the UPC requirement which means that I have to pay yearly fee to GS1 for a f'n barcode and UPC number. Everywhere I've been looking for instructions they say "ask for manufacturer about the UPC" but I am the manufacturer and I'm not going to pay for an UPC at the very beginning of my business journey.
Ok every time I see your vids I’m asking myself who the heck is buying so many dumbbell business card holders? It seems like such a tiny niche. 🤯 Well done on your business.
Thanks for another very useful video! I literally just labelled and packed my first FBA shipment - 8 SKU's of 3D Printed items. Your videos were instrumental in giving me the push I needed to expand my Etsy Store onto Amazon - here's hoping the sales start rolling in! Just a quick note - when I signed up as an individual plan but it charged me for the Professional plan anyway - I had to go back in and flip it back to Individual - not sure if that was just a mistake / bug for me or not.
Awesome video! Just started selling my first listing on Amazon FBA. How have the sales accumulated for you? Is it about 50% of your total business sales? I’m curious to see how many orders I get a nonth
If we are talking overall sales, it varies month to month, and i've only been doing amazon for about 5 months now and we've had just over 200 sales. That would likely be higher if I wasn't focusing more on Etsy sales during November of last year, because I went about 20 days without any inventory in the amazon warehouse and at that point I was getting at least 1 or 2 sales per day from Amazon until my stock ran out. I think Amazon will likely make up more than 75% of my overall sales and profit for 2025 as long as I keep up with it.
WoW awesome video, I've learned a lot. Photoroom looks userfriendly than photoshop. So main picture has to be plain white, but second picture you can add color, dimension, your table, etc right? Now I don't know how Trump's tariff will work for Canadians selling to Amazon USA, how the customs or Amazon will charge the 25%? Or is it customers who will pay the 25%?
I just did my first product and I'm getting a message about it taking up to 24 hours to get approved, is that normal? Does that go away after you've added a few?
It will depend on what the item is, but typically after the first product, they will approve your exemption and then anything else you list that falls under that exemption will be a few minutes. Amazon is pretty strict when it comes to their policies and review standards. As a new seller, they likely want to make sure you are legitimate and what you are selling meets their standards.
I am registered as a business and it is setup that way in Etsy and Amazon. In the case of the brief signup tutorial, there would've been more information for me to fill out just for that quick snippet and i'm not sure it would've let me go past that point since that information is already registered with amazon.
Is this? Profitable, I see that there's a fee.Or cut the amazon takes but then you also have to pay fifty dollars to ship all this to them as well as a warehouse fee? Just seems a ton of work for a third of the money especially if they take $11 out of a $24.99 item + 23 dollars storage fee, and $50 shipping cost + 39.99 for the pro account

Excellent video, Logan. Plenty of good process information to get started with FBA.

How do we go about giving attribution for models that require it? I've heard amazon doesn't like when you give references to other websites.
They don't like you putting links specifically, but you are able to still put the license type, platform and creator who made it.

@@TheMountainMaker so is the the " Gating" process I have heard about?
I think you should register as a business instead of individual because you can write off some expenses. Taxe is lower if you run it as business.

@ oh that's cool. Thx again for the video! I have to register my products very soon.
Hi. Great video as always👍👍 Do you know if it is possible to start selling on Amazon from Norway?
👀
Is this?

I am really amused by the number of dumbbell cardholders that you are able to sell...
Cool, but how do i make it on aliexpress? Thats where the pro's are. Imagine competing successfuly on aliexpress, you know you've really made it then.
