I just had a question about creating your own website to showcase your work. When clients are looking at your sample work on your website, do they judge how well you’ve designed the website, or do they just look at the quality of your writing in isolation?

They look at the quality of your writing and how you have laid it out (format with headings etc) - design is secondary, but should be complementary (generally you do not need anything too flashy, even my website is basically black and white, but very easy to navigate!)
