OneUI is a huge reason I stick with Samsungs only. GoodLock has insane levels of customisation that no other skin can match. Once you get the hang of it there's no going back.

Some features you mentioned are already there one UI 5 as well. Such as smart select from edge panel, bettery being a separate tile in the settings menu , quick settings instant access. Just thought of mentioning 😁✌🏼
One thing that I've noticed with my phone after OneUI 6 update - The app closing animation does not end in the widget ( example YT Music). It goes into the great nothingness of the wallpaper. Previously it used to go into the widget and it was super satisfying.

Since upgrading my S22u yesterday, I noticed my battery life has improved a lot. i was expecting more features, though. Like real-time data monitoring in notification panel
I don't have any of those issues after the update in fact the battery life is very good and camera clarity has improved a lot since I've checked the images of the same shot in almost same lighting conditions before and after the update!!
Yeah, both are ad-free and no severe bloatware problem. Both have their own added security and quality features. But, only problem is moto doesn't provide timely update and gives only 1 Yr os update . Moto should fix this.

For casual user, it's obviously A34. D9000 is somewhere between sd 8 gen 1 and sd 8+ gen 1, which is a lot more powerful than D1080. For casual users, D1080 is good enough for casual users, and since one ui is better than oxygen os (since oxygen os is currently similar to color os), A34 is my recommendation. Just don't forget to buy a charger since it isn't available in the box.
I think some features are limited only to certain models like higher models. I am using A52s in One UI 6.0 and some features are not available in my device.
The photo cut out has been around for a while. I am currently using ui 5 and i have that feature. Including the moving photos to another folder pictures

Too many bugs in one UI1 6.0 (good lock) After updating to one UI 6 1. Home app My layout type is set to grid but after few minutes it automatically switches to list. 2. Home app In home screen ,there is no option for vertical scrolling (disappointing) 3. The recent app screen doesn't move to home but goes into the recently running app when touched in Blank area of the recent apps screen 4. Quick setting is lost In previous one UI 5.0, all the settings will come handy when swiped two times down the status bar but the new setup is messy, it takes more time to lookup to the toggles. I was about to comment similar bugs. But u've already don't that. Few things I would like to add on - the option to open folders in a small box instead of the huge half screen folder is now gone! Also in recents screen, there used to be 3 more options apart from list and grid... The rest of the three are still there but they aren't clickable.
I was confused between moving to iOS or sticking with Android but moving to a standard Samsung Android phone, as I am POCO and IQOO user in the past. Went with Samsung S23, and I must say I am not disappointed. Such a nice phone, and gives such a nice feel when in hand! 😃 I love Android and the flexibility it provides.

Quick setting instant was already there in good lock. That airplane mode function was already there. I've actively used it while I was connected to Bluetooth earphones and it never turned my Bluetooth off. Smart suggestions widget was there too along with black and white customization. Smart select has been there for a long time too, I've been using rectangular shape of smart select to make GIFs(very easy-Recommended), btw you can use it for videos and not just images. I'd expect your team to do a better job. Kinda disappointed. A big team like Trakin tech should be able to employ at least one person to stick to one os each and be able to track changes based on experience and not just read and show the newly added features in the new update
At first, i'm addicted to MIUI. But after having S21fe, things just got out of hand. It's a smooth experience without a jitter. & OMG, good lock is insanely customizable for OneUi. So i just love that.❤️ Just go for it, kudos to Samsung.❤️💪

S21 FE have a bug after installing 6.0 Ringtone volume decreases to zero automatically. Its completely irritating as we miss important calls sometimes.

Light profile is the best way to go the way i see it is imagine a samsung is a car that can go 170 mph but just being in that mode drains your battery and you never even go that fast . So why not slow it down and get even more battery since you hardly need it go max speed

Both are good for normal use. But all my friends who are using oneplus are facing green line issue. You can also check s21 fe 2023 model.
