@@michaeljay717 in a nutshell: virtual machine puzzles (representative of real-world incididents) for blue teamers (defense). As a CTF is for pentesting/red teaming, so a sherlock is for blue teaming - SOC, forensics, IR, dash of threat hunting.
What I found online is that you give points to raise the rank for completing any challenge in Sherlocks. But I did not take any points and they did not even appear in my activity in the profile page
