Haven't really heard anything from REM beauty except that it's from Ari. Fenty is about inclusion with a huge shade range and Rare is natural and neutral colors with an added bonus of the cap design being great for people with lupus. Haven't even heard that the products from REM were mind blowing or even any good in all honesty. Did see a few vids where someone said it wasn't worth the money😔 Nicki Tuttorials and Robert Welsh did more in depth reviews. And thnx for the honesty Glamzilla❤

@@halalgordonramsay4983 People with lupus have a hard time opening things so the circular caps on rare beauty make it easier for them top open it without hurting their hands

@@halalgordonramsay4983 mahmuda begum explained it beautifully. If you'd like to see Selena herself explain this, there is a vid where she put makeup on herself and you can see the importance of the cap design. Both Selena and Riri had a big part in the making of their brands ❤
@@mahmudabegum6665 really? My aunt and friend have lupus and I never heard that 🤔. Maybe it affects ppl differently. Just like how MS has its stages and severity. Not a good comparison rly because MS is more broad then someone with Lupus lol. But i hope it made sense lol.
As an Arianator I'd basically throw my money to whatever Ari launches but you have a point, aside from that why would non-arianators buy it?

Wow you're the first makeup RUclipsr I've watched that actually cares about people's pockets, as opposed to other influencers who always end their videos with "run and get it now". I've watched your videos but haven't subscribed, but now I will be, to see more of your honest and logical critiques of the makeup industry and other content.
💯 ON POINT and relatable. I haven’t jumped into the brand for those exact reasons. Not too impressed with the packaging either, looks very cheap and plasticky. Not worth 20$
The packaging is supposed to be recyclable, hence looking cheap. It does do it's job and it's all for a great cause so I think that's fine! ^^
Fenty is great for inclusivity and Rare is great because the formulas are natural looking. R.E.M. is great because it's ariana grande, that's about it

Rare beauty is about mental health and self love.
REM Beauty just seems meh to me. Same with Gwen Stefani’s GXVE line. I’m not drawn to the brand like I am with Rare and Fenty. I love how Fenty broke boundaries with such a large inclusive skintone range. Rare beauty’s packaging was thoughtfully designed for people suffering from Lupus. I don’t see the uniqueness or community influence of the other two brands. They are a pass for me.

@princessgowon Bummer. You are right, though. At the very least, Rare still has good values towards the public and everyone’s health.
Supposedly it was intended for people with arthritis not lupus, also the brand has never claimed that, the fans started the rumor, but Selena has never said that she designed it with that in mind

Fenty is amazing because they have something for every skin tone & a very diverse price range, Rare is still growing but they give a huge chunk of their profits to mental health & provide products for people like me who have been effected by medical conditions, l have Lupus & my hands are often sore, the packaging is easy to grip & open, as of yet I haven't heard anything about R.E.M. making less expensive products more people can afford or if they are supporting the medical community in any way but I'd love to know if they are.
GLAMZILLA out here talking are R. E. M beauty and trying on the lipsticks… im over here mesmerized by her amazingly perfect eyebrows. And of course her cute hair style. I wear my hair like that too but never thought to use butterfly clips!!!! Adorable! ♡ 💜💜💜
You’re review was 100% spot on! I need to trust and be familiar with that brand to shell out $20 for a lipstick. Nice colors but nothing new & exciting.
It honestly just seems like a fad for a celebrity who just thinks "hmmm, I should have my own cosmetic line" . Well hmmm, that's great for them, but like you said, why should we trust the brand, what do you stand for, what do you believe in, why should we make a purchase from them? Exactly. Im not going to just support random celebrities who are just trying to create more wealth for themselves just because they have a known name.
20 dollars is VERY expensive when drugstore lipstick you can get for 6-10$ is literally just as good, these days.
I would pass out paying 20 dollars for ONE lipstick 💀
I'm selective too, and don't like to jump on the bandwagon until I hear more feedback. I don't like gimmicks and novelty items that are more difficult to use, are not for my skin type, or are mediocre, but they're "cute". Not a Fenty fan. But love Rare Beauty.

Girl, I’ve seen some pretty awful reviews on this brand so to me it’s not worth your dollar. I got so turned away from this brand, and I’m quite happy that I did instead of wasting my money. The eyeshadows are a complete MESS!!
I haven't tried any of her makeup products but I highly recommend the perfumes. Especially, Sweet Like Candy.
i think the most important part of celebrity makeup brands is that they reflect the celebrity and their values, personality, interests, etc. and i feel like ariana has done that. i choose not to compare her makeup to a professionals because the purpose of the makeup isnt the same imo

I've seen this girl buying (and being proud of it) gucci and chanel makeups coz she likes those brands, she's excited about it even if she knew that in most cases, it's not really worth it. That's what rem beauty imo. Though it definitely have it's purposes. But, like, if u are a fan of a brand, even if it is so expensive, you're not really paying for the product, but for the name. In rem beauty's case, its from ari, so that's that. I know I shouldn't even compare those brands and products but that's how I see it. Im just saying that, why yall overanalyzing this when yall even buy expensive products coz of the brand??

That’s exactly what I said when the brand launched and people acted like I was being rude to Ariana. I love her! But dang it seems like she’s just dropping stuff and not giving us any substance to the brand. And celebrity/influencer brands need that substance.

How long did it stay on? The colors didn’t really interest me but the spacey package is cool. Also, girl- do u review hair products bc your shiny, smooth beautiful hair is always on point! Do tell!
I would recommend you try the sephora megnata lash mascara. it works amazingly!!! it give your lashes an amazing curl and lengthens them, it also gives a bit of volume. I would recommend you try it (ps. the curl is amazing!!!! it lasts for a rly long time)❤❤❤

I see so much hate for rem beauty because people think that it is a cash grab but ariana grande has been working on rem beauty for 3 years while she was on tour. Also so many people say how bad the products are when they have not even tried them or seen them.

nothing really excited me in her first launch for rem beauty, other than the lipsticks. i'm a huge ari fan and some of her fragrances are really good in my opinion. despite that, in her second collection, i absolutely fell in love with the brand and some of its products. especially the blush sticks and the gel eyeshadows. while i think there is a message that is still trying to be figured out, i still do think that it was a business decision on her part. AND there is nothing wrong with that! if i was her i would want to share my artistry with everyone as well with products i would want to create that i would use.
if i were to recommend some products, they would be:
- midnight shadows metallic gel eyeshadows in affirmation & touch (DUPE: ColourPop Super Shock Shadows, while different in consistency have similar payoff)
- eclipse cheek & lip stick in audition, curtain call & call back (DUPE: NudeStix blush sticks, however, REM's are WAY BETTER in my opinion)
- on your collar matte lipsticks in drive-in movie, bubbly & tiramisu (DUPE: Mac Powder Kiss Lipsticks)
- mist thang calming face mist (AVOID if you are SENSITIVE to fragrance & essential oils)
- cooling blurring under-eye balm (similar to the Becca Zero foundation but this is FAR BETTER and has skincare benefits)
Can you try em cosmetics?? I'm Seriously in love and it is amazing for girls with sensitive skin, mixed race skin thats hard to match most foundation shades and dry lips like mine. Super amazing. I hope you review them sometime!!!

The packaging is cute but I don't wanna try it, I think its just like Maybelline powdermatte lipstick
I was gonna try this brand out a while ago then I felt like "Why?" Not in a bitchy way either but in a way where I couldn't really pin point why she really dropped this line because the products weren't what I was expecting them to be based off Arianna's image if this made sense. It's a very basic limited line in my opinion that doesn't make me feel like I HAVE to try it now ya know? ❤

REM is just like an overpriced brand that was made so people will waste their money on Ariana’s products
Every single brand selling $20 lipsticks is about making our money and nothing else. How much are fenty lippies? There's your answer. Inclusiveness is the Way they Sell, not their belief system, no matter what the ad campaign tells us. Talking down REM is just as weak as talking up fenty, for this reason. On the user end, we care about the quality of the product and how well it works for us. Virtue signalling over Inclusivity is just that. Maybelline and L'Oreal are both highly "inclusive". The shade ranges are out of this world. FitMe has 40 shades!! L'Oreal True Match has 45!!! How about we all just let a girl start somewhere, like the beginning. We could just let her get her feet wet and find her voice... her real voice... the one that wasn't dreamt up by an ad person?
Yup, most likely Ariana doesn't wanna preach to her audience on why they should buy her makeup, cause to her makeup is just a fun thing and she wants to sell it, it kinda shows because R.E.M doesn't sell complexion products but more towards eyeshadow and colourful glittery lip products

The brand is still very new so I’m going give it a chance so I don’t want to judge to much. from videos I’ve seen the formulas seem to be all good I truly don’t care for packaging. But it’s 20 dollar’s I can get similar products for cheaper options. I do think Ariana cares about this brand but she needs do something that reaches/connects to want people to buy other than her name

I like the product however I do not think it's intelligent to launch the first and only five shades f lipstick in the colour brown. Also when I saw Ariana Grande tutorial videos I expected it to be more grand and for her to give us more detail about her new brand and the products. No offense but to me it just looked like she was playing with the make up and shooting a random make up video just for fun,I didn't feel like she knew a lot about her own products or looked idk serious?
