I'm glad you found it helpful. I wish I personally had seen this technique about 2-3 years sooner. It would have saved lots of time.

Glad you found it helpful. It should help your double strokes, also accents, flams and single strokes. Will give you more control

you've caught my attention. Maybe you could show us how yo used to play on the set and now with this technique how it's different. I can't visualize it in my mind. You're telling us it makes a big difference... can you show us?

Thanks for your feedback. This particular lesson is all about stick control. The best way to get control of the sticks is usually on one surface - a practice pad or snare drum. When you get control of your hands - for instance your rolls, your single strokes, etc., all that can be applied to the drum-set. I can't really demonstrate how i played on the drum-set before i had good stick control. But I will tell you that the more stick control you have the more things you can play on the drum-set. If you watch some of your favorite drummers and wonder how they can move around the drum set so easily much of that boils down to stick control. If you can play fast on one drum, one surface, it's pretty easy to play fast around the drum-set.

@@BradAllenDrumsKansasCity Yes, I get that. I do. But sometimes students need to see the end result. It's obvious to you, but not the audience. You need to show us where this leads.

@@Alaska_MD Thank you. I'll probably add some drum-set footage to the next video.😀
