There is a much better build of this by just focusing on lv4,6,8 and 10 synchros. The fabled tuners are just good in runick synchro and Unicore is a nice addition or back up option. Basic combo: Summon hugin discard cerburrel(or normal abanc)>sync for cupid pitch increase lv> summon hugin > sync chaos ruler mill 5 or mill 4 and add a light> cupid pitch add abanc> normal abanc or trigger GY effect of abanc> make baronne or summon geri > contact fuse chaos ruler + geri into beasy-eyes> revive chaos ruler and overlay for nr38 > summon 3rd hugin to make unicore. While doing that play you probably drew like 6+ cards of fountains to find another way to put a tuner on board. Very easy to end on Baronne, Chengying and/or Unicore with many back up options if the combo doesn't reach its full potential. All your boards are also gonna be backed up by a hand of runick spells.

@@iTechGamingLOL Yeah, activated effects =/= continuous/lingering effects. If both sides have a Unicore on field then all activated effects will be negated whilever you both have the same number of cards in hand; this effect doesn't activate so the 2 Unicores don't cancel each other out.

So, can Runick spells be used on spell speed 2 from the hand normally, or is there an effect on the field that I am not aware of (as usually a quick-play spell needs to be set in order to be useable on your opponents turn).
As someone else said. Field spell makes them hand traps, and 1 per turn you can shuffle up to 3 quick play runicks from the gy and draw that many from deck. And all runick quick plays can either use their main effect (with a top deck banish) or ss a extra deck runick (which 2/3 of them are searchers+protectors). They are a crazy consistent and annoying to slow down control deck (however cards like the virus traps that can just pop all their spells for 3 turns hard counters them)

The strategy is to mill with both the banish, and a continuous spell they own that adds 1 extra banish to all quick play spells. Usually the opponents deck out by maybe turn 4 or 5? Depending on how active they are. Best to play a deck that likes being banished such as Metaphys or Shiranui.
Might not be the most efficient way to play Runick, but it's the most fun way to play Runick, and also the most efficient way to play Fabled.

Fabled Runick is up there with Fabled Tri-Brigade. I built both of them on MD. Meta decks that utilize Fabled in order to be less meta.

I actually have Omega in this deck so I can manipulate the opponents hand in order to negate using Unicore. It does work surprisingly

curse of darknes is already on the field, so technically curse of darkness was "activated" when you put it on the field
once its active on the field its a continuous effect.
