I love creating content about motherhood and homemaking and today, I am sharing a day in the life with Fall homemaking including a Q&A, cooking, cleaning, daily mom motivation. 🍂 Poor man's soup recipe:
1 pound ground beef browned and drained
3 medium russet potatoes peeled and diced
4 medium carrots sliced
1 medium onion
1 can diced tomatoes - 14oz. can
(I sliced up two tomatoes because I did not have canned)
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp minces garlic (or garlic powder)
Cover and cook low for 8hrs or high for 5hrs

I hear ya about teenagers driving... Mine just turned 22!! He has a lazy eye as well. He was concerned about driving as well , but 2 years ago he took the pludge ALL we can do is pray God's hedge of protection over our babies!! 🙏🏻❤️

Good morning Marie, I haven’t finished watching your video yet but I am at the part where you’re talking about driving at 16. I totally agree with you that I think 16 is too early to be driving. I didn’t think so when I was 16 I wanted to drive but my dad wouldn’t let me until I was 18. And always thought that was too long but now that I am a mom I feel the same way and I am not letting my children drive until they’re 18 as well.
I wanted to drive so bad when I was 14-15 and finally had the freedom to do so at 16 with my own car, but I definitely domt want my kids driving alone that young. 😩
It was a good distraction this morning, considering all that happened. I live in Massachusetts and I’ve been to Maine plenty of times..no matter where it happens. It’s such a tragedy. Thank you for giving us comfort today Marie.❤❤

good vlog! I am trying to be really intentional with toys for Christmas.i get overwhelmed by them as well !! I like getting crafts and things to do vs big toys they dont play with:)
I like the ones I can keep put away until they want to play with them like Lincoln logs and Magnitiles are put away after they are done. I'm thinking Lego Duplo blocks for Nolan this year!

Hi Marie. Those are the cutest little bears!!! My cousin wrecked her mom's car on the way to school because she saw a spider on the dash. She ran the car head on into a tree but she wasn't going fast. She damaged the car pretty badly and hurt her arm. Cats are four-legged little demons. Lol. And you take all the sponsors you can. I always look forward to your videos 😊 My son will be 1 in December and I can already imagine the overload of toys we’ll have in the house. I’ve heard of asking for an experience or memberships to kid-friendly places instead of toys and I LOVE that idea.

My oldest son’s birthday is on Christmas Eve so that way always a hard one we had his party on Christmas Eve or when he was younger his big party was usually the week before. He is 24 and my youngest is 20. I hated the driving at 14 and I never let my oldest take my youngest to school I drove him myself because of those intrusive thoughts.
I couldn't stop laughing when you said you blew the spider away. 🤣

I think Jackson should get a big boy bed when he's 3yrs, he's still a baby any way that's my opinion.
He will be put in a twin size bed when he is being potty trained so he can get up and go to the bathroom if he needs to. I'm thinking around 2.5.

Omg, 😂 1 day I was dropping kids home and 1 of the girls had a toy doll and in it had a honey bee and it flew out of the doll and in the car ALL the girls panicked, thankfully I don't panic and took a bottle and the cover and scooped the bee in the bottle 😂😂😂
Oh gosh! I've had a bee get in my car before and had to pull over and let it out. Lol

hi hun, In florida I got my tubes done & was released after a few hours, Its not as bad as people make it out to be 3 small cuts same day released .. I had to wait too & make a appointment at another time they dont do it as same time as delivery .. so maybe check into it again hun :)

I had my tubes tied during my c-section with my twins and I feel like my recovery was the same as my first c-section. I feel like it is just a lot easier and more convenient that way as well. Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy!🥰@@themillardfamily1749

Right there with you on the driving. I have 19, 15, and 7 year old boys. My 19 year old waited until he was 18 to get licensed and still wrecked his truck a few months later. My 15 year old has his permit and will be taking driver's ed but hes on his phone constantly and it scares me, plus he is diabetic and that makes everything's more difficult and scary. What if he goes low while driving? Ugh! Can't we just keep them under our wing forever?

Sorry if this sounds personal, its not meant that way, but do you budget? I know you said it was hard with $ when you decided to bea stay at home mom. Ive really been into watching budgeting RUclips videos and i think itd be interesting if you did a budgeting video... or how you save up for big purchases/Christmas/unexpected emergencies that are costly, etc.

So sad to hear the cat was put outside . I hope the cat survived ok. Where I live we have shelters that work with cats and are very careful to determine if they can go to homes. Not a judgement more a concern as to if this is something that was the first option.
The cat lived outside just fine and preferred to be outside. It was an outside cat but still our pet. We put shelter and warm blankets on the porch with food and water and the kids played with it in the yard. It was still our cat, just outside. We live in the country, so most people have outdoor cats to catch field mice.
Oh Marie I wish you would elaborated more on just putting the cat outside. There are animal lovers on here that won't get what you meant and I don't want to see them attacking you. We have a cat and she has and will never see the outside. You may want to explain that you live in a warm climate, that you still attended to the cat, etc. Of course, your little childs safety from a scratching cat is #1. I get it and truly understand. The nasty's won't.
Tons of people around here have what you call, "outside cats" they don't come in the house. We live in the country. We also have warm places for them to sleep outside.
@@MarieLoveAsbury Yes, same here! We live in the country too, in NC. Tons of outdoor cats because you don't have to worry about the bitter cold (Like Ohio where we used to live). Cats do love to be outside.
