Base 10 numeric system came from Hindus and passed down to Arabs. I dont know why some ignorant Westerners still call it Arabic Numeric instead of Hindu Numeric. By the way, Hinduism was a civilization not a religion.
When you are converting the 24 gauge cartridges line the inside of the hull with stiff card stock paper. It will protect the plastic so they are reusable.
Have you tried that trick out yet? How did it work? Could you make a reloading video for this ammunition, and that technique, if you found that it works well.
Was wondering if you had problems with ejection, til i got to the end of your video. I have a problem with the ejector jumping past the rim which makes me have to ram rod it out. I found that if I use a little Rem oil around the breech it prevents the rim jump.
Very nice. I made a series of videos on my snider and I am hoping to start a collection. Sadly, 24GA hulls are sold out everywhere so I have to use 28 GA hulls....
A snider collection would be pretty cool. I think the Egyptian ones are pretty interesting. Good thing I bought up a couple hundred of the hulls when they were in stock, but it's good to know 28 GA will work. I'll check your out series!
28 gauge rims will have difficulty extracting, but it is a cost efficient method. You can also reload without dies or reloading equipment for brass cases also. I posted about that on the British Militaria Forum
if you use Triple 7 you don't have to clean it as well you just need water I wonder how difficult that is to clean with black powder do you have to disassemble the whole thing
It's not too bad to clean, since it's a breech loader. I just run a hot water patch through then clean it just like any other firearm and it's worked well for me. I'm a fan of using real black powder whenever possible, despite how messy it is.
That's right, they don't. More than likely for legal purposes, but it's imperitive that you check them over for any issues before shooting them, and even after getting the O.K. I would suggest firing the first several shots remotely. If you're looking for a shooter and limited to antiques, the Martini Henry's are a good choice.
I guess Nepalis prefer poorly reamed chambers, soft iron and crudely manufactured "remade" parts. Your lucky an American came around to SAVE these relics from your dump of a city before the Earthquake. Now Americans are restoring and enjoying what you all could not maintain.
I just used some generic wood filler, stained with Danish Oil. It doesn't blend perfectly, but it works for me since I wanted to keep the character there.
As to reply as SAFTEY Sam. If you do explode , it's the others who watch , your teaching flagrant disregard for normal procedure. If you die doing what you love is ok , just don't teach others your bad habits. You've probably never even learned SAFTEY with black powder . But your a poor example of it.
At that time ,during combat, Neplese prefer to chop the enemy’s head with khukri rather than reloading snider rifle

Yeah great way to be rude,
this is nepali sniper so nice
No bro it's snider
Missing the pivot pin retaining screw for the breech block .
Good job I found the balls to be accurate on man size targets at 100 yards using these shells

Interesting. I'll have to try that out.

Great video, thanks for sharing.
If you have one with a 3 groove bore, it will be a conversion. If you have one that has a 5 groove bore you have a purpose built rifle!

Thanks for the tip! That forum is a great place for information.
black powder chad vs smokeless virgin
OH MAN that can of powder with the funnel in it is a NO GO. A spark gets in there and it's ER city. And yes it can happen. Cover the can and move it.
Nice but I'd take a Trapdoor over the Snider any day. With that being said, I still want one.
Shes a beauty.

so this would be a good option besides a Muzzleloader for somebody who's limited to antiques
Ima does not recommend shooting them though

Missing a screw from your breech block hinge pin.
try using original cast bullets you will get better range, round balls do not work well
Couldn't you just resize the hulls?
hey you
british gave nepali bad guns
they didnt kork
then nepali people remade it
that worked
know all before you speak
its not copy
its re-made

What do you fill the worm holes with?
