Did you use the same plastic reduction gear with this brushless upgrade. I usually try to find a metal reduction gear but so far I am unable to find one for the 12402a . If you used a metal reduction gear could you please tell me where to find it and how many tooth motor gear did you use or did you use the stock.Thank you in advance Doug

Great Video.Can u tell me the shaft size of the motor .I believe 550 brushed motor thats in the D7 is 3.17mm
Yes 3.1mm, I actually installed 2845 4370kv motors in them now.

Yes I did, changed to a 14 tooth and 2845 4370kv, I got it to work

The battery that comes in the original of this vehicle is 1500mah 15c 7.4v. I am thinking of using 7.4v 4000mah 25c. will i damage the engine or esc?
